I had one of these fitted to a previous phone for a number of years and it clearly gave adequate protection as that had hit the floor many times without the phone suffering any damage.Given that positive experience I was keen to use the same case for the new phone. Although a tight, snug fit, it can be removed and refitted without difficulty. It allows unobstructed use of the phone's buttons and although very slim, the rim wraps round on all sides to just above the level of the screen to ensure that is protected in a fall onto a flat surface. It's sufficient to give protection to the glass screen protector, also from Otterbox, that has been fitted. It also has a raised 'collar' around the camera lenses which protects them in the same way.It is slim, light and comfortable in the hand, and although not a 'soft', rubbery material, it has a very slight texture which is sufficient to resist it slipping from one's fingers.Altogether, I remain very pleased with this and have confidence in the protection it gives.

7 months after purchase, this is an honest review. I loved my old unbreakable Otterbox iPhone 8 case and left a 5 star review I loved it. Since upgrading to iPhone 13 I decided to go with Otterbox again and unfortunately this case pales in comparison. Not nearly as sturdy, yet so far it’s been protective and my phone is unharmed. After around 5 months the edges become more flimsy in comparison to the previous version and now the edge of the case has started coming off.

My daughter dropped her phone so I got her one of these. I have used them for a while and the phone always survives if accidentally dropped on the floor

Have been using otter box cases since the beginning and I’ve always rated the protection these cases offer.Otterbox cases bought since about 2018 have gone downhill in quality - the case breaks down before the phone and you end up needing to buy another.For this iPhone 14 mini case, the rubber around the buttons and charge port have come away from the main plastic casing. Basically, whatever glue compound is being used isn’t up for the job.I still wouldn’t chance not buying otterbox in terms of device protection but the decline in quality is now costing me twice as much as it should.

Now don’t get me wrong, the black versions of these not beautiful, but they are totally bombproof. I fit one of these to my kids’ phones when they first get them and they stay on until the phone is ready to sell on and they honestly take everything you throw at them. Granted I have needed to replace a few screen protectors during the life of the phone, but the body and back remain untouched despite teenagers taking “care” of them.Just get one and trust your phone will be fine.

Over the years I’ve had many different brands of phone cases, otter box has been my go to brand for the last 7 years as they provide well built long lasting cases for my devices. This case fits perfectly, has a nice ridge surrounding the screen which protects the screen from scratches when laying it face down on a surface. It also has great tactile buttons on the sides for the volume and lock button controls.
