Better than my $278 Stethoscope!!!!
I love the stethoscope as part of this kit! It is way better than 3M Littmann Classic II S.E. Stethoscope, Burgundy Tube, 28 inch, 2211 ($89 new) and 3M Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope, Caribbean Blue Tube, 27 inch, 2178 ($278 new). The stethoscope makes super clear heart sounds and easy to turn from bell to diaphragm. The ear pieces are also very comfortable and don't fall out of your ears easily. The stethoscope is light and cute and I get compliments from it often for the color. The other parts of the kit are super great too for daily use in any practice because there are two tuning forks, several types of scissors, tweezers, and a reflex hammer- everything you need to get started for nursing or nurse practitioner school/practice. This is a great deal and an ideal starter kit for any clinician.

Not Light Pink
It works fine and everything was in good condition, but the pink isn't a light, translucent pink like the photos. Stethoscope, trauma shears, and penlight are shocking, dayglow, safety vest type of pink. Not worth the hassle of exchanging, but not what I wanted. May be good if you are doing field work or home care to make sure that you don't lose them or you can find in your medical bag. The other scissors, clamps, and forceps are dipped in a dull dusty pink.Just letting you know in case you are buying for a gift.

Penlight doesn’t work. Plastic on the stethoscope is really cheap
The kit is in general not bad. Except that the penlight doesn’t work and the plastic on the listening piece of the stethoscope is a joke. It bends so easily, cuz it’s made of plastic. I mean, like thick plastic. Really hard and fragile at the same time. I like everything else in there. But I will still be returning. I will just get a kit with tuning fork, the little hammer, scissors and forceps..
