Melissa & Doug Magical Kingdom Activity Rug Play Set – 4 Wooden Play Pieces

This my second play mat of Melissa amd Doug. Good quality, first one is still in great shape after 6 years. I use it under my grandbaby's table. Easy spot cleaning of spills with damp rag.

Fun playtime rug! Really cute, brightly colored with a lot of details. Just the right size for my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter to use for imaginative play. The rug has a backing that keeps it from sliding around on hardwood/tile floors - but it's also flexible enough that it easily rolls back up and fits into the original box for storage, the four little figures easily fit back into the box too. This storage option is a big plus!As usual for Melissa and Doug, this rug is well made - plenty of different pictures and designs for lots of ideas for play. Comes with four wooden figures, each person figure fits onto the horse and carriage. They stand pretty well without falling over. Kids will have fun using whatever other figured toys they have to play with on this rug.Also makes a cute small rug for a playroom or next to the bed. Nice enough to gift.Definitely recommend!

This playtime rug is smaller than I expected, but fits well for preschoolers' play. It has a rubber backing to help from sliding around, especially on wood floors. The polyester finish is a bit rough on the kids' knees, but the low piling helps with cleanup. The set features a flowery garden for a wooden, calvarous, horse-riding prince to take his princess around in her carriage. It's a very traditionally sweet and romantic play for young children. The wooden prince tends to fall easily off his horse, of which can be improved in the cut design.

We got this about half a year ago and it's held up very well, despite getting a LOT of use. Our daughter is not a toddler, but we have hard-wood floors so we use this rug so that she has a soft space to play on the floor.The colors are vibrant and the material is soft. Something that is particularly nice is that the bottom is made of a rubbery material that really sticks to the floor so it'snot sliding around when she uses it or when we vacuum the rug. Which, by the way, it is very easy to vacuum. Six months in and it still looks brand new.The set comes with four wooden toys. Our daughter is a little old for those, but they are well-made and I think younger kids would enjoy putting the little people on the wooden horses.All told, this is a nice rug set. High quality and vibrant colors!

This kingdom rug set is adorable! I ordered it for my niece to play on while she's at my house. It's easy to roll up and store under the bed when she's not here. It's low pile, so it's easy to vacuum and clean up any spills (already happened twice, lol). It comes with a few wooden characters, but she plays with lots of different toys on it, like her ponies and cars.
