Deserted (Shadow Beast Shifters) Paperback – 3 Oct. 2021

I have to lead this review with the fact that Jaymin Eve is firmly in my top 5 favourite authors & the shadow beast trilogy is in my top 3 of stories written by Jaymin. So my expectations were high & it did not disappoint at all.This is a standalone book that is a spin off from the shadow beast trilogy. Therefore Mera & Shadow are in this book & Jaymin doesn't just ignore them but they don't swamp this story either. The story follows Angel & Reece, it is full of emotion and there are tear jerking moments and hot, hot, hot moments, plus lighter, funny moments.If you don't want a book hangover don't read the Compelled teaser as immediately you'll want to read compelled.... but this story is complete and is fantastic. If you like pnr you'll love this.

I mean wow! I've been patiently (not patient at all) waiting for this release and re read all the shadow beast books again so I'd be going in all amped up annnnnndd this did not dissapoint. Its got the usual bad assery I've come to expect from these leading ladies and gorgeous gods.Plenty of scortching scenes and badass battles with very egde of your seat roller coaster emotional stuff.I loved visiting the new world delving deeper into Angel and Reece's story and learning more about them both.. and also keeping up with mera and the shadow beast too yey. Lol.I can't wait for Simone and Luciens story I honestly don't know how I'll survive until next year!

I fell for Angel since she was first mentioned in Mera's story. Due to her past, she turned herself into a robot to not get overcome by the feelings of losing her family. But thanks to her being reborn, she was able to lose all the burden and come back with a new chance at life. Reece on the other hand doesn't know what to do. The line between hate and love for him and Angel has always been thin, but when his lands require her and their friends' help, the two of them can finally confront what they fell. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions and it broke my heart more than once. I can't wait for the next book to be out and read Simone and Lucien's story.

It's really good

After binge reading the first three of this series, I loved hearing this side of the story and will be eagerly downloading the next book.

I usually never read spin off books of a series because I can never let the main characters go and just read them in snippets in spin offs but I absolutely fell in love with Angel in Mera and shadows story that I had to read her and Reece’s book. Jaymin has an amazing way of writing that makes all the characters interesting not just the main couple, read this book in one sitting it was amazing would definitely recommend

Loved Angel and Reece's story. Some very sad and shocking moments but it was great to see Angel get her happily ever after. Looking forward to Simone and Lucien's story!

Long awaited continuation of shadow beast shifters series and absolute wonderful read. Filled with emotional turmoil, action, alpha male tendencies, and swoonworthy sexual content. The desert world building was excellently done and very intriguing. Angel and Reece story is strong with second chance at love and letting go of past hurts. Reunited with the whole pack/family made it a extremely emotional read. Do be prepared for heartstrings being pulled. I can't wait for the next book. Highly recommended series but to fully enjoy Deserted you should read the whole series started with Rejected.

Eu estou cada vez mais apaixonada pela relação de amizade/família que os personagens possuem. Estou encantada pelo amor de Angel e Reece, amei conhecer um pouco mais sobre eles, eles são incríveis 😍❤️

I absolutely loved Angel and Reese's story! Lots of heart breaks through this book but with a somewhat happy ending! Totally worth the read for sure !!!Its steamy, filled with alpha-holes who takes forever to tame, with action fights that saves worlds, loss (so sad it ll make you cry) captivating and just addictive start to finish ! If you haven't read this series start with book 1( Rejected) to read in order, you don't want to miss these wonderful characters!!!Enjoy

Warning: Do not read this book with any distractions around. You will find ourself snapping at others.You Been Warned.But let's get into it because, OMG you guys are in for a treat.Going off from the last book one of our favorite couples Shadow and Mera is having a little one on the way. And of course Angels and the other A-holes are expected to be around. But our favorite Desert God, Reece, is having issues in his world that he needs his pack ( the whole gang, Angel included ) to help. And of course where ever Mera goes, Angel is right beside her. Even though there seems to be bad blood between Reece and Angel. There is a lot of history between the two that I just couldn't wait to dive into. And what you will find is something that will have you jumping in your seat with excitement.-Expect the UnexpectedThere is a lot of things that happened in this book that had me feeling a tornado of emotions. I didn't know if I should cry, laugh, or be angry.What I can say is that in this book I felt a lot of tears coming to my eyes. I couldn't even claim it was sweat leaking from my eye balls.The amount of feelings that went into this book will really pull at your heart strings, and you can really feel the characters sense of loss.This is something that I absolutely love that Jaymin Eve does in the books I've gotten to read by her. You, as a reader, can really visualize what a character is going through and their emotions. And I for one throughly enjoy and appericate this type of hand writing in books.One of the many things that I love and enjoy about this book is that you get to read it from Angel's point of view. I love the fact that in the previous books before this one, she doesn't show her emotions like that. But in this book you get all types of emotions and sarcastic remarks. You cannot help but fall even more in love with Angel.Not to mention you see a possessive and alpha Reece. Lol I can't help but laugh at this new change that you see of Reece. When Mera nickname Reece, Shadow number 2, she hit the nail on the head. These two could've really been brothers. And the relationship between Shadow and him, you get the feeling that they're truly best friends.I actually hope you can see this type of relationship with the other males in the book amoung one another. I also hope to see that it's not just Shadow and Reece, who is over protective about there mates. But also with the other males in the book.One Brother in particular that made me laugh with his shenanigans is Len, the Fae. Lol he really is the silly one in this group of A-Holes. He kept flirting with Angel, to the point that he was bring the rumbles and mencing growl out of Reece. lol He really knew how to push his buttons to show us readers and Angel that Reece was very much so interested in her.-Heart Broken But Still Hoping for a Miracle - Final ThoughtsEven though there is so much that happens in this book, I cannot emphasize on the fact that this book really touches your heart. So many scenes that happens in this book will have you screaming "NOOOO" And so many scenes will have you biting your lips, as well as laughing trying not to cry beacuse of how funny a scene was.I can honestly say that I really enjoy this book and was sadden that it ended already. And now have to wait next year to read Simon and Lucien's story, and whoever else follows after.. Hopefully Len's or Sam's book..... i'm leaning more towards Sam's first. She got some explaining to do, and a mama bear name Mera to deal with.Speaking of Simon and Lucien's book I cannot wait for it to come out. The little bit Jaymin Eve leaves you with will make you mouth water for more. Ohhh Its going to be juciy. I am looking forward to it and cannot wait to get my hands on it. Might have to take a day off of work whenever these books come out. Too many distractions that I didn't want to deal with, were cause while reading this book. Lesson very much learned.Hopefully in the books to come, Mera will get Shadow to move her friends into their wonderful world. Finger Cross.

Splendid. My favorite characters got what they deserved. Jaymin writing still is addictive. Read it in a single afternoon. On to the rest of her series I guess.
