CHECK YOUR HOLE SAW SIZE
So far so good. The main worry was installation as I'm no expert. Someone had reviewed that you need a bigger hole saw size than the instructions state and that's very true (so thank you to them). It states that you can use 79mm or bigger. You actually need 83-86mm I'd suggest. Then it was easy to install after the nerve wracking job of cutting a hole in a van! I tested it before I cut the hole to ensure it was working - it takes about 20 seconds to come on in sunshine (longer in cloud) but then runs well. I chose this over a wind powered one as it's most needed for being in the campervan when it's stationery. I do wish that they'd included an on/off switch on this. The fan noise is ok, not too loud. It really is low profile which was also needed to still get into car parks with height barriers. Overall I'm impressed, I just hope it keeps going and I'll update if it doesn't. The worst part is standing on a ladder with a drill, lol.

Looks good quality and works well i s we I’ll review when it has been installed in a plastic shed which gets very hot when the sun is on it in afternoon and eve.

Ventilated the shed
Seems to work well when in full sun, stops and starts when not in full sun but does help keep the shed a bit cooler.

Good idea poorly executed
Solar panel not strong enough. Only comes on when in full sun and only for a few seconds.

Surprisingly efficient little vent
I have a tortoise in an outdoor enclosure, andeven though the shed is insulated it still got pretty toasty inside. I needed a way to cycle the air through it so I figured this little vent would be perfect - and I was right. It's not very deep and so couldn't get through the insulation layer of the roof so I had to improvise with some soil pipe to make an air baffle, but it works incredibly well and can shift a decent amount of air. It's not obscenely loud either, though I doubt the tortoise would mind if it was. If you want to cool an out building, this is a great little solution!
