Don't ever buy from anyone one but Holiday Lighting!!
I have been using HLo lighting for years. Always had great success using their products. I have a large Xmas display and the ability to customize my cords & lighting gives me a lot of freedom with decorating. One time I waited too long to order and was unable to get what I needed in time so I ordered from a different supplier. WHAT A MISTAKE. I had plugs burning up in my hands as soon as I plugged them in. Terrified me ! I will never use anyone but HLo again!

They Work Great
Got these to use with SPT-1 100FT Extension Hookup Electrical Wire 18AWG and Female Green Vampire Plug . Super easy to install these vampire plugs on the cable. Gonna work great for custom wiring my home's C9 lights for Christmas!5/5 Stars

No very safe. In my opinion.
Overall I can't say these are defective, but the system used to pierce the insulation hardly does the job. I had to push wire into the vampire teeth with a tool. The mechanism built into the device didn't put adequate pressure on the wire to break the insulation. I don't believe these to be safe, especially over the winter when snow and ice can accumulate in and around the connections.A better application would be to use the tried and true insulation displacement of a V that slices through the insulation making connection to the conductor. Time to go back to the drawing board.

Males were good I purchased the female and they jacked up the order twice , had to get a refund .
