Mission 5 Math Card Game

This game is the bomb! I am the nanny of a little boy who is 9 years old and has a tutor twice a week after school. He works with him on math and reading and the little boy really likes to play games so this is a whole lot more fun than doing worksheets, especially since ONE of those days a week he has reading help for an hour after scool AND then the tutor at home for an hour and a half! A bit much... I like that it can start very basic for a young child, with only addition and subtraction, and you can add more operations as the child grows. He isn't quite into negative numbers yet, but we will be adding that very soon. Then we will go on to even more functions, including exponents. Great game, he loves it. It really helps the mind become more creative in manipulating numbers to achieve the target of a specific number, 5. AND the games don't go on forever. Highly recommended.

Garbage...... Don't waste your money or time

Package arrived timely and in good condition. The box of the game is 5" x 4". I was surprised by the small size. Judging by the picture I expected a much larger game. Small size though, is practical to carry around. We only played about 2 games - adults only. The beginning phases, adding andsubtracting seemed ok. I can see that the game can be quite challenging when all functions are used. Will have to make final judgment of the game after we had sufficient time to play it with the kids.

I'm a math tutor and this game is fun and keeps them thinking. Once our lesson is over and we still have 10 minutes to go, we play Mission 5 and they absolutely love it. I've played with 6th graders through 11th graders.

Purchased for Christmas - family really enjoys playing. Thank you for a great way to enhance math.

It was a gift for Christmas to someone dear to me, so at the moment I can't truthfully comment on it.
