Perfect Notebook
I spent a lot of time searching for a notebook that I could use as a morning pages journal to bring more creativity to my writing and thinking, which for the past few years has been entirely digital. This one has the perfect combination of paper size, quality, dotted and numbered pages, etc. Now that I've been using this notebook for the past month, I am totally hooked. The 120 gsm paper feels luxurious. The notebook itself is extremely well constructed, yet still lays flat when opened. The vegan cover feels wonderful to the touch. I find myself turning to this beautiful notebook throughout the day and evening when I need time to think more clearly about what I'm attempting to write or solve or decide. What a great thinking companion!

The best
I love the Scribbles That Matter Journals! I used mine for a bullet journal as most people do. Writing on the paper is so nice. Theres even markers for the middle of the pages. Numbered which was also perfect. Opening the book so many times a day maming the journal puts a lot of stress on a book but this one is super sturdy no complaints there either.Theres lots of colors to chose from. I didnt dislike a thing about these journals. Will be a loyal customer.

Love it!
I ordered the forest green 160 gsm journal. It comes with a purple elastic band to keep it closed, a purple elastic pen holder on the side, a removable ruler with measurements and a pocket inside the back cover. The inside cover has a key table included and the first page has a couple lines to personalize. Following this, there are 4 index pages, 149 numbered dot grid pages and 1 front/back dot grid pen test page at the end. Each page has a small line instead of a dot both horizontally and vertically to mark where the half way point is. It comes with a 04 Fineliner pen that works great, as well. Overall, very happy with my purchase! Hope this helps anyone looking to buy, as some of the details in the listing are kind of confusing.

Favorite bullet journal
This is my favorite bullet journal, I’ve had two of them now. I’ve tried a lot of brands (archer and olive, leuchtturm, etc) and this one has the whitest AND thickest paper!!! It also comes with a page ruler to help divide into sections. The first STM journal that I had held up thru my first college semester and I had to repurchase for my second semester. Ink doesn’t bleed (I use tombows, micron pens, etc) and there’s a good amount of pages!

Perfect for my Bullet Journal
I ordered this for my next bullet journal. Each page has a subtle middle of the page marker at the top, bottom, middle, and sides. This has been so helpful when spacing out lettering. It's such a small thing that just helps so much. It has a nice sturdy cover, and thick 160gsm pages. I haven't had any issues with ink bleeding through. I highly recommend.

My go to journal
I use this for my bullet journal. This is my go to journal. The pages are thick and protect from bleeding. It is sturdy and amazing quality.

Nice notebook but a few nit-picking things
A few things I noticed right away, I am a bit of a perfectionist, so if you are not, none of these may bother you.The cons (IMO):The book is much thicker than I expected but that I guess was my fault, I didn’t think it would different than other journals. So none of my b6 jelly covers fit this thick spine. Check dimensions first. The elastic has left an indent when shipping (I assume) which is just a little unsightly. The pages are cut and bound unevenly in groups (see image) so it’s not just one clean cut. They are also fairly sharp edges if that makes sense, I think perhaps that is because of the 120lb paper? My wrist on the edge of the paper doesn’t like the feeling. The dot grid isn’t straight with the edge of the paper and some don’t line up from left page to right page. It’s so minor but my eyeballs can’t I unsee it. I will likely use this journal because it was pricier than others (don’t want to waste it) and it was the b6 size I like. The Pros: The paper is thick so it won’t bleed inks and will stand up to stickers or scrap booking which is a plus. The pens I tried all worked very well. My gelly roll pens just takes a bit to dry but after that they are fine. The paper takes my pigment based stamps beautifully. The paper is smooth but still has some tooth. I also broke in the spine easily without any damage. As mentioned in the “cons” this is a thick book because of the paper weight, but I think it would give you many days of good writing or collaging before you need another book.Again, I am seeing things that may just be nothing to someone else, but worth noting. This also has some nice pros, like the paper quality, index and pen test page.

These have not lived up to the positive reviews.
While the actual overall look and quality of the materials used is high, I'm not sure what or why these journals have changed but since their renewal of stock towards the start of the year the paper stock they now use is almost unusable. There's a coating on the paper which delays the drying time of quite literally anything you decide to write with. If you use just pencils and need to erase, the coating comes away leaving a noticeable patch on the page that repels watercolour. Watercolours or pens like tombow brush pens take an eternity to dry off there's been no eraser used and even then the pigment transfers to other pages when the book is closed after its finally dried. We had such high hopes for these as the reviews previously all seemed so good but our own experience sadly paints a much sadder picture. We shan't order more unless we are told these issues have been addressed as they're pretty much not fit for purpose.

Amazing journal at a perfect size
I absolutely loved the A5 Scribbles That Matter journals, but was continually finding myself running out of space, so I bought an A4 Scribbles journal which I also loved but it turned out to be too big.So I was already excited when I heard about the B5 launch, it really is the Goldilocks size for me. It’s perfect, as it’s not as large as A4 and it’s bigger than A5, see my pictures for a comparison.I use a large variety of mediums in my bullet journal, pencils, pens, brush pens. I was impressed that my new staedtler pigment liner pens didn’t bleed as they are very inky. WHSmith brush pens also do not bleed either, and my favourite pens, the Papermate flair, which is awesome because I love them. There’s minimal ghosting, even with the large amount of stress I put my journal through (see last photo) and I never have to stick pages together.I’ve even used acrylic paint in both my A5 and B5 journals, and it copes so amazingly well, just minimal amount of ghosting and no bleeding due to the coating. Very impressive.Other journals of the same page thickness do not cope with paint, or fixative. In fact I used fixative in another branded bullet journal with pages of the same thickness and it bled straight through. If you absolutely hate ghosting and bleeding and think sticking pages together is annoying, this is the journal for you and you will not be disappointed.I much prefer the B5 size as I like to journal, and I will be using less pages overall to do that, so I’m excited about the fact my journal is going to last longer. My A5 would last me 4 months, so anything over that is a bonus. The dots in the journal are not too dark and not too light, and easy to colour over, which is perfect for me as I love to combine lots of art with writing, and it can cope with both very well. The Scribbles That Matter team have the best customer service on the internet too, and are really respondent to their customers, take ideas and comments from them and even make products based on feedback, and the customers then end up being their fans.

EDIT TO ORIGINAL REVIEW NOW REVIEW OF SECOND
Please note that this is an edit to my original 5* rating as Amazon wouldn't let me upload a second review. This is reviewing my lavender STM I received in March this year. This is a hard review for me to do as I absolutely loved my first scribbles that matter so much that I got another for my next bullet journal but I have found so many issues with this new one. As a positive the lavender colour is beautiful and I like the mid page dividers with the lines and pluses. The pages are thick and have minimal bleeding or ghosting but that is where the good points stop. The paper quality is so much lower than in my last one. My main issues with the paper is that both the paper and the dots repel some pen inks so they take forever to dry or come away when I erase the pencil outlines behind the ink. However the pencil doesn't erase easily and erasers can leave shiny streaks across the page. These streaks end up repelling any watercolour I use. The pages also seem to grab hold of fingerprints so these also repel watercolours like I've put was down wax or something. Just not impressed with this one. Very sad.

Advertised "extras" not included
I've had a few "Scribbles That Matter" journals and upon ordering my latest one I noticed that it advertised the addition of a 0.7mm fineliner pen and a page divider guide; however, upon receipt of my parcel these items were not included. The quality of the journal is up to the usual excellent standards, but disappointing to be expecting the additional items for them not to arrive.

Amazing Quality Dotted Journal
I've been a stationery nerd, like many, for a loooong time now and have just invested in this amazing Scribbles That Matter A5 Dotted Journal for the very first time!! Why has it taken me so long, I hear you ask? Well, to be honest I don't know, I have used lots of different journals, Bullet, Leuchtturm1917, Dingbats, Moleskine etc. but never this brand. I have to say, I haven't started it yet, but the quality is so lovely. The description for this is spot on, the cover feels like leather, the paper is thick and I know none of the pens I use are going to bleed through for sure, numbered pages are going to be useful and the 2 different coloured bookmarks are perfect for me as I do use journals for my job as a primary school teacher! The Pen Test page is a fantastic idea too, this journal is going to be my best ever yet, so Scribbles That Matter team, thank you for this brilliant value for money journal! I LOVE IT, WHOOP!
