Yamazen (YAMAZEN) takoyaki device (removable plate type) Red YOA-240 (R)

This takoyaki maker is great! Pretty simple and easy to use. The removeable tray is a plus to make cleaning a breeze! However, it does not distribute heat evenly which makes the takoyaki in the middle cook faster than the ones on the sides of the pan. The box says “for use in Japan only” but I have no issues using a US plug. Its a basic maker and I enjoy making takoyaki with it!

Love this thing!Cooks up great but the only suggestion is perhaps adding a temperature control. It cooks way too fast and can burn easily if not monitored closely.

Very flimsy and poor quality material, the bottom part is made out of plastic , Im afraid it will melt as soon as I turn it on. Such a waste of money. Please dont buy this product if you want to have good quality of takoyaki. Buy the one made in Japan.

Ready to use. No assembly. No complaint about the use, but 100V AC.

It does the job. 24 balls at once is outstanding capacity. But it has two flaws.1. The outer shell is plastic and the bottom can be as hot as the pan. If heat gets too high, the plastic shell and whatever you place it on might be burned.2. You can't control heat. You can only turn heat on or off.It heats up quite fast. So You will burn the takoyaki first before burning your table. I has been careful with heat So Nothing was burned yet.You can make it work, Just need to be careful. I think there might be better choice If you don't care making less at a time.

居間使っている18個焼きが、年数がたって火力が弱くなったので買い替えです。真ん中の二列8個はうまく焼けますが、端のライン、特に四隅は焼けません。糊みたいにグダグダです。場所を替えながら、全体に焼けるまではずいぶん時間がかかりすぎです。以前使っていた18個焼き1000円くらいの方がまだましです。会社名を信じたのですが失敗でした。

・良かった点鉄板取り外して洗えるのは良かった。・悪かった点電源コード短いかも。延長して使っています。火のとおりが悪い列がある。どうしても端は火が弱くなりますが、中でも電源スイッチ側1列4個分がなかなか焼けないので、そこは使用しない用にしています。2人でつついてると、鉄板がガタガタする。固定されているともっと良いかと思いました。
