Fireflies & Tired Eyes Paperback – August 11, 2021

This was the easiest book I have ever read. The author takes you on a beautiful journey of love and loss.

This book is, without a doubt, my favorite! With each poem I read, I am drawn into the world the author creates, making me not want to put the book down! I truly felt connected to the poetry and it allowed me to see from different perspectives and to feel so many emotions. I love how there seems to be a lesson weaved into every poem, very thought provoking. This book will help you appreciate the little joys in life and not take things for granted. I know it helped me. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone.

This poetry was written by a young soul who has discovered the beauty of his own heart and soul in every page. He shares his discovery of who he is as well as his journey of awareness with other people and relationships. He writes like he has the wisdom of a 70 year old with the passion and experience too.Being so young and so aware is a rare combination for this 26 year old man.

This book is incredibly raw, vulnerable, honest, and authentic. It felt like you were going on the journey with the author and it also prompted me to reflect on things in my own life. This book offers a lot of wisdom and insight to the importance of self reflection, self love, and how to love/be loved. I’m excited to read more from this author! 5/5⭐️

I absolutely loved the poetry. It’s an easy read. Anywhere anytime. Definitely something you can re read and feel like you are reading it for the first time.

If you like poetry, this is the perfect book for you. From the first page to the last, it keeps you engaged with inspirational quotes and thought provoking lines. Any true pursuer of poetry and philosophy should have a copy.It was so chopped full of interesting ideas that I finished the whole book in one sitting over a cup of coffee. Even if you are in a hurry, the pages are situated so you can read a quick poem, and be on your way. I've read a lot of books in my day, but never have I read one that was so saturated with raw wisdom.(Warning: the second half of the book might jerk a tear from your eye. When I read it, it hit me harder than most, and I'm a veteran.)

I was recently gifted Fireflies & Tired Eyes.The cover instantly catches the eye with it’s beautiful illustration and draws you into the storied poems inside. Reading this form of “art” I cannot help wondering about the author, who’s passion and profound vision of life can bring joy or evoke tears through each heartfelt passage.What a wonderful gift this book would make to oneself or to touch another heart.I just ordered my second book and look forward to what may be, Ellie Ashton’s meaning of life.

Absolutely beautiful book from the start. You can feel how much time and effort was put into creating this from the cover to the pages within. What a wonderful collection of poetry, written by someone that has experienced a great deal. I really connected with this piece of art and would recommend it to anyone that wants to cuddle up and read about what it is to feel human and be in love.
