They look good but I haven't tested their performance against cutting.

Nice way to protect my hands when using a mandolins or grater. Not puncture-proof, but helps protect from scrapes and cuts.

You do not want to know how many times I have cut my fingers in the kitchen. Once I nearly sheared off the entire tip of a finger. I got about fifteen stitches, my husband took my mandoline away from me and gave it to a charity, and my finger hurt for two years. Then there was the time the cabbage I was shedding in my food processor got jammed and when I tried to unjam it . . . well, this time my husband threw away the food processor and it was a year before I could talk him into letting me buy another one. I now have a mandoline and a food processor that shoots the cabbage into a bowl. I also have a deli-style food slicer. Will my husband let me use these things without cut resistant gloves? Not no but HECK no. So I ordered these. When I combine them with being more careful, the problem is solved.

I have always had a problem when using a knife and accidently nicking myself or even worse! These gloves completely solve this issue. You should still be careful. Though sometimes when cutting with a knife you will make mistakes and these gloves step in to prevent your mistake from causing you to bleed. The gloves are easy to clean and be used many times even after making mistakes. They are made out of a highly durable material that has no problem taking a beating. I wish I had these years ago. I could have spared my poor hands a pile of scars!

Wow! These really work. I use carving tools and this keeps me from tearing up my hands!
