The electrician installed two of these above my outdoor workbench/potting bench. They continue to work even after a torrential downpour. The light is bright enough for us to have dinner on our workbench. They were quick and easy to install. I am very glad my neighbors do not have a bedroom window on that side of the house because these lights stay on all night, and have become a great deterrent to anyone thinking they could come around when it gets dark especially if we are away for the weekend. Great purchase. Good bargain. My 10 foot workbench is bright, making it easy to work even after dark.

Before starting I want to say thia is being used in a 20x20 area by my garage where I park my car. I have been putting off adding a light above a side door in my garage for a long time because I didnt want to hardwire and I didnt want battery powered. I sprung for this one because it was solar powered and super easy to install. It has a small bracket with three screw holes and 3 screws and anchors included. Once I mounted the base, the light slides right onto the base.So the important thing it needed to do was to light the area where I park because sometimea there are skunks and other animals I cant see if its dark. Mostly however since I work at home and check oil on my "classic" car sometimes and if its dark, I dont need a flashlight. The light sections are adjustable for tilt and side to side angles.So there are 3 modes. Sensor which turns light on when motion detected, dim mode which seems to keep dim light on all the time. And dim sensor mode which is a dime version of regular sensor mode.I keep on mode 1 sensor for myself and it lights up my area fine. It does have a handy remote with battery included to change modes and dimness settings (5 altogether). I use 100% as this works best for me.It has auto off in daytime so it doesnt use up power while charging. Seems to work as expected.As far as sensor sensitivity it turns on when I step out of my house and head on it turns on immediately. Coming at it from the sides against the garage it doesnt react until i come up close to it but I never walk against the garage anyways. It emits a white LED light..speaking of which there are tons of small LEDs .For the price and for ease of install Im very happy. I have not been able to test weather resistance yet, but will update at some point.

I have been very pleased with this. Unfortunately now that we are heading into winter and the sun is not as strong it is not working. I am trying to discover if it has rechargeable batteries that I can replace to help with the decreased sunlight. So many very tiny screws in the back that I will have to purchase a tiny screwdriver to see if that is where the batteries are located.

I have wired spotlights on two sides of my back yard, but the third side was very dark. The solar light enabled me to add light to the dark side of the yard. When I send my Bichon Freize out at night I like to keep a watch on her were abouts. The light was very easy to install and all you need is 2 of the 3 screws in the mounting bracket. My dog Ava easily triggers the sensor as she walks around and the light comes on showing her location. I have included pictures of the light at day and night and also how it makes it easy to locate her. The remote works very well and there has been no issue with insufficient battery charge. The one improvement I would like to see is an adjustable sensor time frame. The light stays on for 30 seconds after the thing triggering the sensor is removed from the sensor field of view. It would be nice to adjust it to a longer time frame.

I bought 6. All were good for the first 6 months. Low beam was good. Once motion activated they are pretty bright for a solar unit. Seven months after purchase the motion detectors failed on 2 of the 6. Now the 2 failed lights only work on low beam. I suspect seal failure. The lenses just below motion detector look rusty. I expected better than 6 months without going bad.

We have a small fenced in back yard and I wanted a motion light that was bright enough for the yard, but not so bright that the neighbors would complain. Since all of the segments can be angled in so many ways, this was a good fit. It's also easily dimmable via the remote. The motion sensor is sensitive enough that it lights up when my dog (labradoodle) goes out after dark, but not so sensitive that every bunny stealing from my garden makes it light up. It was easy to put up because the base is small and separate from the lamp, and once that's up, the lamp just slides on top. It has stayed in place despite strong winds. Once I had the segments angled how I wanted, and used the remote to pick the mode and brightness I wanted, I haven't had to change a thing.

Overall not a bad light but remote doesn’t work. Put in Amazon for an exchange only to say shipping is delayed for last 3 days although it’s available to buy on Amazon. ? Maybe want to stay away from this seller.

Bon produit, facile à installer! Seul petit bémol: le panneau solaire est accroché après la lampe. Donc, on est moins flexible pour bouger le panneau solaire pour charger la lampe.
