Great Project!
I have built 100's of models of various types and this is by far the most fun model yet. I spent 1-2 hours a day for over a month and enjoyed every moment. The instructions were very clear and precise. This model came with a lot of extra blocks in case you drop and lose a few (and you will). Overall it went together perfectly and easily. It is challenging and not recommended for a beginner, but overall it is a model than can be built by anyone with patience and an eye for detail. It is a bit spendy but I consider cost per hour of entertainment and this model paid off!

Worth every penny...
Worked on it for an hour or so most nights for 2 months. So big and looks really cool. Working with these little blocks is more satisfying than LEGO since you have to pay attention to the directions and use tweezers to place some bricks. Each bag of bricks needs to be put into their own ziplock bag and not mixed. There is a pattern to what bricks are where. Take your time and relax while you drift away with sore fingers!

Superb Micro bloc set
This set provided many hours of enjoyable building and the result is outstanding. As with all these micro bloc sets some of the pieces are extremely small and easily lost. Plus while pieces are kind of grouped into similar bags, the bags are not numbered. One reviewers suggestion of putting each bags pieces in a ziplock bag or a tupperware container is spot on. If you wanted to take the time and separate each type of piece the time involvement would be significant. But probably not needed as I soon remembered what type of piece was there. very well designed with more than enough pieces to complete this impressive model.

Impossible project.
If you don't buy a gallon of super glue, and glue every single piece in place as you go, the whole project will collapse on itself at step 102. The photo is what you will end up with after weeks of hard work. I'm totally done wasting my money on Lego projects.

Requires patience, but so worth it!
I've been in love with Neuschwanstein for a very long time and was sad that Lego never picked it up as an item. Bless SXPC for doing so - Lego certainly doesn't need to bother. With exchange rates and crazy shipping, this came out at just under NZD$500, so expensive, but completely worth it.Over 50 hours worth of work, requiring extreme patience, logistical thinking and good dexterity, this is a build that I have very much enjoyed and was totally stoked to have completed. It really is outstanding. Some parts are extremely fiddly so you truly do need good dexterity, and some parts are weakly built. The two turrets at the rear can be built in sequence but don't bother putting them in place until you have finished or you'll just be putting them back together and back on after knocking them off.I was worried that there would not be many 'extras' in case I lost pieces or pieces were damaged, but there were plenty for most of the most needed pieces. My advice - get the pieces into constainers or ziplock bags to work from as soon as you can; that makes organisation much easier. And, for the cones of the turrets and towers - build them from the top; they're easier to piece together.Definitely recommended for anyone who loves this castle and /or loves a challenge.
