Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam: Mr. Mind over Matter Paperback – 8 March 2011

The art style and content were great to read with kids. My son and I really enjoyed the Shazam movie, so this comic was a good starting point for him in the universe. I love the story behind the Marvel family and look forward to reading more of the Shazam comics in the future.

This book was actually pretty good. I've read the other reviews which complain about the artwork/story line and I'm forced to agree with them. The artwork was crude and so was the story line. But, at the same time, we must consider the fact that there are very few Captain Marvel/Shazam comics out there and must take what we can get. But it was still an interesting story (even though Batson's dual identities somehow got turned into one) and a must have if you are an avid Captain Marvel fan (such as myself).
