Dynojet Black Power Vision Tuner PV-2B

The tuner was perfect I bought it as an open package it didn't come with all the contents but I made it work

After using the FP3 for five years and starting to have issues,I decided to make the change to Power Vision. Downloading the software to my laptop was. No big deal and took about 5 minutes for the total install.For my bike they had a lot of maps available to try...The only issue I had was that I selected a map that did not apply to my bike,and it started throwing error codes. When you chose maps note that they have separate maps available for twin cooled and air cooled that where I screwed up. Easy fix once I realized what the problem was.With the FP3 I was getting 37-38 miles per gallon and my bike was running rough...The eitms kicked on sitting at a stop sign when it was 70 degrees out and I was only sitting at the sign for less than a minute.I have not run any auto tune sessions yet, due to the fact that the bike is running so strong right now..When I install my cams in the spring,I’ll do it then .Info on my bike : 2015 Road Glide, Performance Machine Jet intake, Vance and Hines Power duals, with Bassani DNT.When you look at the price difference between the two it’s really not much more..Take a look at my gas mileage 51.00 mpg, them temp is high as I just shut it off to take a pic of the gas mileage when I pulled it into the garage..

This tuner is light-years ahead of my old power commander. Dynojet has videos on how to install and use it, and downloadable PDF files covering every possible technical detail about the tuner's operation. Down loading tuner updates to my computer and loading them on to the tuner was no more difficult than any other computer operation thanks to the excellent instructions that came with the tuner. My tuner came from Classic Cycle Parts. I originally purchased the PV-2 (wrong version) of the tuner for my 2008 HD soft tail. I called Classic Cycle Parts and they told me to simply send it back to them and they'd do a one-for-one swap for the correct model (PV-1). I sent the original back via UPS and emailed them with the tracking number. I received my new tuner within 4 days! That means that Classic Cycle Parts shipped my new one before they had even received the original back! That's superior customer service! I'll be using Classic Cycle Parts more often in the future for sure.

This tuner is easy to use, but only gives a few limited options for a given bike, and if I had known then what I know after the fact I would have gone with a different tuner, tech support was no help, this tuner has a lot of good reviews but in my case I feel a bit ripped off.

Item arrived with open box and was clearly used. Likely to have already been married to another bikes vin. For 700$ I expect a brand new unit.

These units are old and don't have most recent software loaded. Good luck trying to get ahold of technical support to try and fix this unit.UPDATE:OK, so after the hassle of updating software I have changed my rating, etc. This unit rocks and the price is right. Buy this unit and load it immediately into your brand new bike, even stock. It'll make your stock bike run noticeably better.

Does as it should plenty of knowledge out there on it its popular with Harley davidson owners I know...

The only down fall with using this device is Tech support . Not very helpful .
