Trusted product
Works great for other products but for a synthetic wig it did not take the color.

Excellent for silicone
My silicone phone case got dingy quickly and wouldn’t come clean. I tried everything and nothing worked. I decided to give this a try. I followed the instructions and then I soaked my phone case in the dye overnight. After that I put it in vinegar for 12 hours. It worked great. The case dyed completely black and has not faded. Glad I tried it. Thanks!

The directions are TINY, but the color was great
The directions are super simple to follow, but I could hardly read them on the packaging, so I had to come back here to view the pic with the product! But color was good. Got a nice gray color, not deep black, as expected. As directed, WEAR GLOVES! It will stain skin and nails if you’re dying the fabric without gloves on. I forgot my gloves before I started the process, and said oh well after I was already elbow deep in my dye bath…and now have a nice mechanics look to sport for the last couple of days 😊!

Good but not perfect
Not always. But can cause uneven color.

A great way to refresh your favorite garment!
I have a favorite office shirt-as a matter of fact-I have 5 of the same shirt. After wearing them for a couple years-they have faded. I took a chance on trying this dye, what a great refresh for my shirts. The color has made my shirts look like new. I dyed the shirts 3 months ago-and after wearing and washing them weekly-my shirts still look great. I will definitely dye some other clothes and use this dye. Easy to use. I dyed mine in a wash machine-used the hot water available-and yes-it worked great!

It worked!
I bought the apricot orange for my outdoor faded polyester pillow shams. I used half the bottle for 3 shams on the stove. I left it brewing for an hour for each batch. It worked beautifully and saved me $50 as I didn’t have to buy new shams! Yay!

Put Dye Directly On Bleach Spot… Here’s What Happened
I bought a pair of green-gold CastaMer espadrilles for the summer. I love them! But when it hit +100 degrees, embarrassing sweat stains appeared in the fabric soles.I put the espadrilles in a lingerie bag, washed them with the beach towels, and let them dry in the sun. They looked better but a few stubborn stains remained.I used a cloth with harsher detergent than super diluted bleach. I ended up with ugly, orange, bleach spots. I ordered the dye but the label says it doesn’t correct bleach stains and reviewers complained the color goes on too light on normal fabricI took a chance putting dye right out of the bottle directly on the bleach stain. I applied painting tape around the heel and straps, poured the dye into a cap, dipped a Q-tip in the dye, and ‘painted’ the soles of the espadrilles. After +4 rounds and 1/2 the bottle, the orange spots are covered up. The soles look perfect when the dye is wet. But it dries blotchy where I added more dye on the bleach stain. So better but not great.

Excellent color! Not UV resistant at all...
Used on roll out awning valance panel. Was Grey and dyed to sapphire blue, came out mint! Boiling water/steam and proper mixing ratios according to the label is the most difficult parts of the process. Pretty easy. Put the valance back up and torrential rains for 2 days had no effect on the color at all. less than 3 days of direct sun faded it to purple, terrible. I am dying it again and applying scotchgard outdoor sun and water shield to see how much that helps. Will follow up if this was a complete waste of time and money (also trying the dye on the 4 curtain panels on the gazebo as blue ones were not an option).

Works great!
Used this due to colour a synthetic wig that I’m using for a costume. This dye coloured the wig perfectly without damage and with even colour throughout. I would imagine it would do just as good a job on synthetic fabric.

Works well
Bought this dye for a pair of trousers which were 100% polyester the dye was very good , easy to use colour was a bit darker than we expected but may go a little lighter when washed a few times. One thing I would point out the instructions are so small on the. Bottle you need a magnifying glass to read and it’s still difficult, could you not put the instructions on a leaflet as attach to the bottle. Apart from that would recommend.
