Freedom of movement while looking neat and respectful.
i train shaolin kungfu three times a week. the quality and design of the pants we use is very important and these pants are great! the fabric is durable, comfortable, and stays clean. most importantly, they allow unrestricted movement, even if you're all sweaty! kicks, rolls, falls, low stances, sparring and complex long forms can all be executed easily without ANY restriction. no binding, sticking, catching, bunching, or shifting. i also prefer pants like these with an elastic cuff. the pants stay put, and no worries about maintaining respectful modesty -- even when you're flipping upside down, you don't wind up looking silly with bare legs flashing in everyone's face! the cut/tailoring at the waist, hips, and crotch are perfect. freedom of movement without being baggy, bulky or flappy. my new favorite traditional kungfu uniform pants! after decades of training i've found the best. 😀

not martial arts friendly!
these are NOT traditional martial arts pants! if you plan to do ANY kicking above the knee, since there is no gusset, the seams will give out. poor design...poor quality...I returned.

There was only one side pocket. I would have liked it to have two, one on each side so that I can put my keys and wallet in them. I use this pants to practice meditation and kung fu.

Need Better Selection of Sizes
The pants come in standard sizes that aren't well suited to most Americans. generally we have a wider girth then most orientals. therefore I had to select a size that fits a much taller individual then cut it down.

great fit
very comfortable and lots of room without it being too baggy. The length was good as I am 6'3" and the cuffed bottoms keep you from stepping on the leg as well as the eliminating the need for tailoring. The lightweight material is great for class and teaching but i would not recommend grappling in these.

You'll pay for the shipping. And if something goes wrong (and size will go wrong) you'll have to pay the return too! Do not buy. They won't fit.
