Well built, high quality screen, and at a good price but slightly noisy
I have used this laptop for a month now. I had it imported into a non-US country.Pros:-The screen is of a great quality with rich colors; making graphic and video related work, a pleasure.-It does handle most workloads with ease (Word, web browser, Spotify, photo editing software, all at the same time), however freezing and jittering can happen if the drivers are not up to date, or buggy.-It does not seem to have any issues with Windows 11.-Great customizability for the RGB keyboard.-The USB Type-A and Type-C ports, and RJ45 port also eliminate the need to have a dock plugged in, most of the time.-Nearly the entire laptop chassis (except for the bezel around the screen) is made from aluminum and it feels really solid.-There are enough vents to keep the laptop sufficiently cooled.-Value for money! I spent a while looking for something in this price range and the closest competitor was the Aero 15. There was the Zephyrus G15 too but that was out of my price range. With the great deals they offer on this laptop, it might be the best option in terms of value for money.Cons:-The fans are on, nearly all the time; and it is not a quiet whirring but more of like a aircraft waiting on the taxiway in the distance kind of whirring. You are able to hear them whirring from the adjacent rooms in your home too! I decided to turn the GPU and CPU fan speeds to 0% (when the temps are cool) in the included MSI Center Pro software, so with light loads, they do not come on.-The speakers do not have much sound below the 200Hz frequency, so there is not any oomph or low end bass - even with adjusting the EQ settings in the Nahimic Companion. Things can sound quite boxy. They get averagely loud.-The webcam is...well, it's a webcam. It's OK enough for online meetings.-The included MSI Center Pro software is very buggy. It's the go to app for managing driver updates, fan speeds etc. but it crashes a lot and can sometimes hang while installing driver updates.-When you do update your BIOS, the computer restarts and the fans go on max speed, which could scare you if you don't expect it.-The screen has a glossy panel and can be a problem in well-lit rooms or working outside.-For a Creator laptop, it is quite sad to see that there isn't an SD card slot available.-The power brick is really comparable to a brick. It's quite heavy compared to other power bricks I have used.Overall, I think it may be the best laptop I've owned yet. I think MSI is really giving a lot for the money we are paying; it's great for those who want to use it for photo editing, music production, general use or light-moderate gaming.*For other international customers, the power brick does allow you to swop the cord to one that will fit directly into your wall outlet, with a range of 100V-240V*

DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP
Update:Amazon did the right thing and gave me a prompt, full refund, no questions asked. For this reason I will continue shopping for high-end supplies through them (you can hear horror stories of trying to return through other brands). Unfortunately, I don't see myself buying MSI again anytime soon. As stated in my original review, I only see the issues I experienced as being on their end.Original Review:I really wanted to like this laptop. The price, the specs, the aesthetics and build quality. Everything looked too good to be true, and it was. This laptop is crippled by software issues. Like many others I first dealt with the screen flickering issue. I tried sticking it out and speaking with MSI support and we managed to fix it using drivers. Then, I noticed keys kept repeating when I would type. This is still an ongoing issue, and no amount of drivers, bios updates, or ec resets is fixing it. This is genuinely a shame for a laptop with such potential. The screen is truly gorgeous and the specs are supposed to be high-end. I can't recommend you purchase this laptop under any means, even at the price I found it (33% off). I am left having to fight it out with Amazon for a full refund for this poorly optimized computer. I can only see this being MSI who is cutting corners, as none of my issues are mechanical. Shame.

Great value, very few compromises
I'm comparison with other $1500 creator laptops this device has some great features. The processor and graphics are desktop level. Are there higher powered graphics cards out there? Sure, but for the price compared to what you can build a desktop for these days this is the way to go. The screen is what sets this a part from it's competition. It's incredible. Accurate, bright and sharp. This is a must on a creator laptop. Don't skimp on the screen. The audio is mediocre, but that is not a issue for me as I use headphones most of the time and have a Bluetooth speaker for sharing. Yes the fans can get borderline loud, but normal use they are really quiet. Video editing, and gaming will sometimes increase the noise level. The hardware is solid although a fingerprint magnet. I'm looking for a vinal skin to hopefully help with that. To my surprise bloatware is at a minimum, and updating was pain free. Whatever you do I would not upgrade to windows 11. Wait a year or so for that or maybe never. Windows 10 is what this machine was built for and it runs great! I use the type c thunderbolt a lot, it's super fast to my external SSD. I am also impressed with the speed of the facial recognition sign on. The web cam is not great though but usable. My use is mainly 4k video editing, photography, audio creation, and some light animation. I returned my Asus ROG Duo for this because of driver issues, and instability. For almost 800 less this laptop is a beast.
