My Trendz Knit Chic Starter Children's Knitting Kit - Create Your Own Fashion Trends!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas and kind of took over. It's so fun and easy to make items with these! I want to buy more kits. Together we finished a hat and it's super cute and comfortable. She's 8 and doesn't fully have the attention span for it but I'm hoping to change that =) I'd rather her spend time on this instead of electronics. It wasn't super hard for me to teach her how to do it either.

If I had been smart I would have purchased something different. One skein is hard to work with for beginners and the posts are so far apart that you have to buy super chunky yarn.

Bought this for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. Instructions were simple and easy to follow, but I had to allow her to go to YouTube to get the hang of it because she's a visual learner. The yarn is so pretty and vibrant. She has been obsessed and very focused, been very quiet around here...lol. I am thinking of purchasing one for myself or something eqvililant.

The instructions were impossible to figure out and they seemed way harder than they should be. My 9 year old friend could not figure out how to do it at all.

I was hoping this would be a cool gift for my 8yo who wanted to learn to knit but it (the rectangle loom) was too complicated even for myself. Maybe I’ll find some better instructions on YouTube but she’s now lost interest after being so frustrated with it and I don’t particularly blame her. She’s a very intelligent, coordinated kid.. heck, I know how to knit and we still couldn’t follow the instructions.

My sister has 2 girls (8 and 12) both with December birthdays. These knitting kits were the perfect gift for both! I like how they came with a variety of looms and yarn colors that could appeal to both their ages. Got all three, and boom - bdays and Christmas taken care of!!! They were excited to make scarfs and hats for all their friends, and hopefully their aunt too...hint hint.

Love this item but instructions were hard to tell what to do so I went on YouTube.
