It works as advertised, cleans quickly and thoroughly.
It works as advertised, cleans quickly and thoroughly. This allows you to purchase higher quality rollers and reuse them. Higher quality rollers work MUCH better then the $0.99 ones. The difference in better supplies will be seen in the results and in the effort you have to put forth. To clean the roller I place it in the REJUV-A-ROLLER and run the water for about 1 to 2 minutes. I then take the roller out and insert it back in the REJUV-A-ROLLER in the opposite direction as before. I then run the water again for about 1 to 2 minutes. I am on a well for my tap water so our pressure is less then a normal city utility supply. Higher water pressure may increase the cleaning ability and decrease the cleaning time for this product. This may be obvious but rollers should be cleaned soon after painting and not allowed to dry before cleaning. I also recommend rinsing the REJUV-A-ROLLER off after all of your cleaning is done.If you have ever cleaned (or tried to clean) a paint roller you know it will take a long time. This product will save you time, water, and rollers. Also with the reduction of water use it is possible to clean them in a 5 gallon paint bucket. The diluted paint can then be disposed properly. This way the diluted paint will not end up in the environment, sewer or your septic tank. The main tubes of the product are made of high quality (high density) plastic. The self coiling hose is nice and seems to be similar quality of one you would find in garden supply store. It is also fairly similar to a compressed air coil hose. The sink fitting is nice, I would prefer a metal one, but the ability for it to fit several types of faucets is good. This product seems quite solid and well designed; overall I was impressed with it.The only down side to this product as I see it is that it is made in China. Don't let the American Flag on the box fool you. It is designed in the USA and made in China. The US flag on a product made in China always annoys me.

Easy to use and cleans thoroughly
Used this for the first time today to clean a microfiber roller I was using to prime drywall with a white acrylic primer. I followed the directions exactly and got really good results, it took both less time to clean the roller and seemed to use less water than my normal method of rinsing a roller under a running faucet. Sliding the roller into the cleaning tube was a bit of a messy process but because I did it over a sink it was easy to wash-up. After it was done rinsing (the water runs clear out the bottom), to test I held the roller under a running faucet and repeatedly squeezed the roller; I was amazed while the water was not perfectly clear it had just a slight tint of color. Then as a second check I set the roller standing up in the sink and waited about two minutes while the water slowly drained from the roller. When I picked up the roller there was no paint color ring where the roller had been standing. This is my usual test to tell if I've gotten all the paint out of a roller. So after my first us of the Paint Roller Cleaner I'm very impressed. I imagine a more realistic test will come tomorrow when I clean the roller after painting the wall blue with an acrylic satin sheen finish.

Saves time = saves money!
It works great, the only draw back is having so many pieces, it's a hassle having to keep the attachments all together. But it does work. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am a painter and at my old job they had one that worked better, but I couldn't find another one. I would recomend it to anyone that wants to reuse their rollers opposed to throwing them away. Which saves you money. It's quicker than washing them out by hand and you don't have to baby sit it.

Love it! My favorite DIY tool.
This is the best tool I've purchased in a while. I can't believe how quickly and easily it cleans a paint roller cover. It's pretty amazing. I've been struggling with the stupid paint roller comb that takes forever to scrape off paint and water and it's just a mess and it never gets really, really clean. I end up throwing the cover away. But, with this nifty tool, I can finally reuse my paint roller covers again and again. My husband and I are major DIYers - practically professional DIYers, so any tool that makes our remodeling jobs easier and faster is a bonus. Honestly, I'd pay twice as much for this cleaner just because it works so well and saves me money on roller covers. The set-up was easy. I was able to attach the hose to the kitchen sink and also to the outside spigot. Getting the paint roller cover into the cleaner was a bit messy because I have to actually hold the the cover with my hand to get it into the tube, but after that, it's a breeze. Step 1 - hook up the hose. Step 2 - insert the smaller tube into the larger one. Step 3 - insert the roller cover into the inner tube and insert the end cap. Step 4 - Screw on the thingy that closes up the tube and attach it to the hose. Step 5 - Turn on the water. Literally, within a minute your roller cover is cleaned. Love it!

Didn't rejuvenate :(
Didn't really work for me. After painting one room with the beige paint I inserted directly into the cleaner, inserted the plug and turned on the warm water. It took about two minutes until the water started flowing clear. I then flipped it over and rinsed it out from the other side. It didn't take nearly as long to start flowing clear from other side. I then went to scrape it dry with my Hyde roller cleaner and noticed that the water was still coming out tinted. I had to rinse, scrape, rinse, scrape for about 15 minutes until until I finally managed to get the water coming out to be clear. And still the roller looks anything but rejuvenated (I'm using Purdy White Dove roller covers which are about $3.50 each - see picture of before and after). The roller definitely doesn't look new. In fact I don't think I'll even reuse it. Not really worth the money. I'd rather buy more rollers and throw them away.
