Well, I do like the pattern it makes on my shortbread cookies, however, the roller does not turn well. It is smaller than the usual rolling pin, but since it is only for embossing it isn't that big a deal. I will continue to use it but I wish it rolled properly.

My daughter in law and I decided to make Christmas ornaments this past year. So I bought this to roll over the dough. It makes a beautiful pattern.

I bought this to make designs in salt ornaments for Christmas tree gifts.I thought it was a wider rolling pin but that’s ok. Thanks

Like a lot of people, I failed to verify the measurements on this item and 'assumed' it was the size of a standard rolling pin. Not so much. It's definitely cute and fun. But...it's tiny and does not seem all that sturdy. Probably better for pie crust than any kind of sticky cookie dough. Maybe as the rolling pin absorbs some butter over time dough will stick less. In the meantime, we just don't press very hard when rolling out dough.

Bought this as a gift for a foodie friend. Its beautiful to look at, very easy to use, and the results are amazing. Plan on getting one for myself. Excellent vaule.

Loved the embossed rolling pins. However, the embossing was not deep enough to show up well on the cookies.

Details not cut deep enough. Once I baked the cookies there were no designs. I tried 3 doughs that are specific to embossed rolled cookies.

This rolling pin does not impress a patter into pastry and is a waste of money.The design is not deep enough to impact on the dough and all that can be seen is feint lines.Very disappointing product.
