I wear it under a jacket but the fleecy bit bobbled in no time thanks to the rubbing. So it's not a very hardwearing type of fleece material compared to some. However, I'm not oo fussed by it's shabbier appearance and I do find it comfortable and it dries out quick and is a good layer
