Awesome vinyl
It's great, adheres well, is workable, and the color is nice. From an objective standpoint, it does looks just like electrical tape.

In 3M, we trust. Pay a bit more for quality and ease of use.
I consider myself handy, but I have never worked with an automotive wrap until this one. I bought 3M based on reviews that they are easier to work with and more forgiving. I have always had good experiences with 3M products so I went with it.The B-pillars on my car were pretty damaged from the Sun and they have been eye sores. Satin black is perfect. It's not too shiny and I think matt would've been too dull. I am happy with my choice to go with satin black.I first wet sanded the b-pillars with 1000 grit sandpaper to get some of the Sun damage smoothed out. This didn't take too long (and I also covered the rubber pieces with blue painter's tape to protect them from the sandpaper.) Then I gave them a quick wash, and wiped them with alcohol.Applying the wrap was super easy, largely in part because the b-pillars are mostly flat. The bubbles were easy to remove (one of the talked about features of 3M wrap). I also used the heat gun to "shrink" them. All in all, I am very happy with the results. The whole job took about 2 hours, including sanding, washing, and applying the wrap.

3m 1080 vinyl film for car hood
This was a great product at a great price unfortunately the tube was been in shipping and crinkled the material but after installing it none of the crinkles showed up so everything worked out fine I think the shipper should use a stronger tube to ship hello shipper are you reading this anyway everything worked out fine and I didn't have to return it great product I used a heat gun to install it and everything turned out perfect I love it and do your research watch youtube videos before you install it I used water and soap and soaked it before I put it on if you don't use water and soapy water to install that you might have difficulties. I'm very very very happy with the way my hood looks it's awesome it's the perfect scene it couldn't be better it's the perfect color than material is good good it looks awesome and I got exactly what I wanted

Crinkled and Wrinkled
When we rec'd the roll it was so wrinkled and damaged it was beyond use. We tried to take out time with it and get it off the roll then it all stuck to itself to make matters even worse. Had the roll not been damaged when we got it and we'd have had maybe two more people to try ad get it off the roll so it didn't stick to itself, it would have been a lot better. Quality of the paper is ok and PLENTY of adhesion for sure. I can't even begin to imagine how tough it would be to wrap a car with this stuff? If you've ever duct tape stick to itself, this film is the same way. Hard to believe the QA department in shipping even sent his roll out like it was. Creases, wrinkles and you name it. It looked a lot like a forklift ran over it.

This is the best
I had a matte black vinyl from Vvivid that I though would have been a good less expensive alternative to the 3M stuff, but I was wrong. I was never able to successfully wrap anything with the Vvivid stuff because it was too thick and had zero stretch. I assumed the problem was me not knowing how to wrap properly, but I finally decided to try the 3M stuff out and I'm glad I did. What a difference! It's so much softer and stretchier, and much easier to work with. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

3m is best!
3m is always the best! If you care a our what you're wrapping? Then vinyl is the only vinyl to use! You can tell if it's real 3m by 3m's distinctive sent. It has a fruity scent to it. No joke!! Easiest way to tell if it's real!

So far so good
Will update once i try the test piece on my car! Came quickly in the mail with a discount code for if i decide to buy full wrap. Seems to be good quality in hand.Update: the test piece didnt last on my veichle, the wrap probably stays on better if its a fully wraped object w/ heat.

Check size on delivery
Cut too small, paid for 5ftx4ft and was 1" shorter than 4ft and 4" shorter on the 5ft length. No good when it's advertised as a spec size. They may get away with it with lots of people but my sizing only allowed 10mm all around. Disappointed.
