Too Simple
Our ice/water dispenser on our Kenmore/LG French door frig has been acting up for over a year. Getting more and more difficult to convince it to work. But our tolerance for frustration was higher! Eventually it simply refused to dispense its water in either form. So, I looked on line, found a great video that shows how to replace the switch. Found the switch on the Sears Parts site for about $35 plus $20 for shipping for ONE simple switch. Seemed outlandish. It was. This little gem cost me $8.00 for 2 (two count em two!!) and free shipping. It took ten minutes to install - mostly because I wanted to preserve the slide connectors so I was very patient pulling them off - and it works perfectly. Plus I have a spare!! Now I wonder why was I so reluctant to fix this? Ignorance is not bliss. RELEASE THE ICE!

Horrible. One switch did not work out of the box, switched it out for the other one and it stopped working in less than a week. Garbage.
