Brilliant little bit of kit!
Perfect compact size perfect for a small family or taking away camping. Easy to assemble and sits nicely off the floor.

Ok
Looks great but not the best at cooking for. Takes ages to get going and kept going out.

Terrible to get hot, and once hot it doesn’t stay hot for long,
I like how compact the bbq is and ease of building but I found it very hard to cook on, tried two different types of coal and both were quite unsuccessful! Vents open all the way and still not getting hot enough. After all attempts of cooking on the bbq I’ve ended up cooking in the oven.

Don’t be in a hurry
When I first opened the packaging I was surprised by the quality, assembly was straight forward and completed in around 15 minutes.Today I used the bbq for the first time and I cooked 3 large chicken thighs, 2 quarter pound burgers and 3 sausages. There was no room for anything else on the grill. The grill was easy to get going using paper and dry twigs, I would advise adding the charcoal in stages allowing each batch to get going before proceeding. I will admit that on this occasion this was not the hottest grill I’ve ever used and every took a while to cook, but on the plus side the chicken was moist and golden brown, the burgers and sausages were soft and juicy and throughout the entire session I never saw a flame. If you are content to sit back and be patient you won’t be disappointed, have an extra beer or two.Update 21/8/23There are a number of negative reviews stating that the grill does not get hot enough and I will agree that this is problem. To remedy this I have drilled about 30+ 4mm holes in the bottom of the charcoal tray to improve the air supply, this has worked well and I no longer have any problem getting the bbq hot.
