It works well even with my 20 year old 90hp kitchenaid. I am happy

A very big bang for the buck!
Unboxing this juicer you will be impressed with it's high quality build. It's heft, and the manufactures choice of materials inspires confidence. It is easily as well built as any 'official' kitchenaid accessory. I have only owned it for a short time, so durability will be something I come back to comment on next year. However, given it's stout build and obvious high quality I am certain this unit will stand the test of time.To date I have juiced celery, grapes, apples and carrots. Not much of test, but I think typical of most needs. It's feed chute is smaller than what you'd get on a stand alone juicer, but given the other upsides I can't see it as much of a detractor. It juices quickly enough to be considered efficient and I was surprised how dry the pulp was. Would this compare to a $300+ juicer in that regard, probably not. But in regards to speed, this is a tad faster. It is most certainly quieter than stand alone juicers, and given as you'll use your kitchenaid mixer, you'll have a ten speed juicer (speeds one and two work well)! I have yet to clog this unit, though if it did clog, unclogging it would be fast and easy. Cleaning takes less than a minute... much easier than cleaning a stand alone. The fact that it stores in a drawer with other hand tools makes this a big win for folks who already own too many appliances ;-)

Perfect for trying out juicing
I bought this to try drinking vegetable juice everyday. For $50, totally worth it. Makes quality cold press juice. After 4 months, I knew I want this to be part of my lifestyle, so I've upgrade to the $550 Nama J2 juicer. If you are new to juicing and have a KitchenAid, this is great to try juicing. I would expect it would only last about a year with daily use.Comparing KitchenAid to the Nama J2:Yield and juice quality: Both about the same, but Nama J2 might grind leafy greens a little betterTime: KitchenAid is slower and you have to add ingredients one at a time. Nama J2 is much faster, lets you load everything at once and walk away.Jamming: KitchenAid sometime jams near the end of a single juice. You have to be careful to cut some vegies and juice softer things first. When jammed, take the front off and push the block out (maybe +5 minutes of trouble shooting). Nama J2 keeps on working for 8-12 juices and doesn't require as much cutting.Cleaning: KitchenAid screen is hard to clean and the rubber tube to channel juice gets stained green. The screen for the Nama J2 is easier to clean but has more parts.Froth: KitchenAid is better and makes less bubbles.Size: KitchenAid juicer is much smaller if you don't count the KitchenAid itselfIn general, this is a solid juicer for trying it out or occasional use. It will take 30-60 minutes out of your day, and more if you are juicing for a whole family or batch juicing for the week. It is worth investing in the Nama J2 if you know you'll use it often and for years. You'll save a ton of time, effort and it has a 15 year warranty. But if you aren't sure you want to invest in that, start with this. The KitchenAid juicer makes quality juice, just with more time and effort, as well as not lasting as long.

Terrible
Do not buy this. The liquids will run back into the mixer. I had to completely disassemble my mixer to clean it out. It luckily didn’t get the motor or motherboard wet.

Sturdy, But Clogs Easily
Fits well the Kitchenaid mixer, easy to clean, feels very sturdy. Two drawbacks:1. Does not yield as much juice as I would expect2. Clogs very easily. Clogged on lemons, pineapple. For carrot juice, my old cheap centrifugal juicer does a much better job for me.

I love it
I am new to juicing and looking for a non expensive juicer to start with. I was a little skeptical to purchase because of some of the negative reviews. However, I went ahead and bought it. I can honestly say it is a very good juicer. It doesn’t get clogged like everyone mentions, all you have to do is keep on inserting your next fruit or vegetable and that’ll push the rest out. It is very easy to clean and small enough to store in a small place.

Wonderful product
Why buy another counter clutter when you already have one?! I bought a ninja foodi and it was just another large item to leave out on the counter plus storing accessories. I returned it because it did not performing the "extracting" I wanted. Saw this item and I am super happy with using it for the first time, made a carrot juice concoction!Cleaning was a breeze! Used a toothbrush for the strainer, no brainer!!Buy it!

Incredible quality!
This is the best masticating juicer tool I have found - our family has tried several different juicing tools over the years and we just found this attachment for our Kitchen Aid.It works perfectly and is so easy to clean. And if fits Kitchen Aid stand mixers universally...ours is approx 20 years old and the attachment fits like a glove. The attachment is so sturdy and solid, and the strainer component does an excellent job of filtering out pulp...the juice has been awesome so far. We've only made a couple of batches of juice, but I feel the attachment has already paid for itself. If you have a Kitchen Aid, and enjoy fresh juice - this is the only tool you'll need, and seems like it will last a lifetime!

Effective, Compact Juicer
The compact size of this juicer is it's major plus. It has few parts to assemble and to clean, but most of all it makes good juice (with some pulp in it).

Works well for my Cuisinart Stand mixer
Edit: Reducing my previous 4-star rating to 2-star. The metal grinding noise has made this unusable now. Trying to see if the seller would provide any warranty for the item.Edit 2: Upon reaching out to the seller, I got a replacement unit to see if the issues doesn't come back again. Kudos to good customer service. This works well for my Cuisinart stand mixer. Been using it for few months now. Its easy to insert and remove once you are done with the business. Cleaning the mesh is a little tricky, but it depends on what fruits or veggies you are using too (oranges are more difficult to clean compared to carrot or apple). The only reason I am giving 4 start is that I've started to see some grinded metal from the shaft lately and the juice is going down the shaft (a few drops), that now requires additional cleaning. It may be happening because this isn't perfectly fitting into the Cuisinart shaft.
