Didn't work until we glued on some rug pieces!
My big dog wouldn't use it. He kept slipping and sliding. He did NOT like that! Refused to use it after a couple of tries. Then we put some rugs pieces on it, and problem solved. Claws get a solid grip.I used 3M spray adhesive to stick the rugs on. It's hard to get stuff to adhere to plastic, but the spray adhesive is pretty much like contact cement. Spray both surfaces, let them set for 10 minutes, stick 'em together. Without this, I can see why a lot of people have no luck with it.

Great ramp! Ready to ride again.
It is a great ramp! Very useful. Maybe a little heavy for my wife but easy to use. Folds easily for storage in my vehicles. Gets my dog back in the car and out for his ride!

I would recommend this.
I would recommend this. I use it for my 105 lb. black Lab to get in the truck and golf cart. It is convenient that it folds, is made of pretty sturdy plastic. I did purchase the sandpaper type tape you can get for traction and put it every few inches across the whole thing because it is hard for the dog due to being slippery and it scares him if he slides on it. Works pretty well with the additional tape on it. That is the main reason I didn't give 5 stars. It is bulky to handle, but I don't see a way around that, given it's large size. Same with it's weight. You can fold it up and put it under the seat on the golf cart. I put it on the side of our large tool box in the bed of the truck, fits perfect.

Lightweight. Easy to fold. Slippery as heck.
The portability of this ramp is great, along with the ease of folding it up. The main drawback is the lack of tread for the old man dog that uses it. This ramp is extremely slippery, as it is made completely of plastic.

CHECK THE SIZE BEFORE ORDERING!
I did not measure the width of my car door area (where this ramp will attach) & the ramp ended up being too wide to lay flat! Since it wouldn’t lay flat, it wasn’t very secure, plus it was tilted so my dog wouldn’t go near it! I tried & tried to get her to use this but she never did. It is lightweight (almost too lightweight!) & very easy to fold though. Just make sure it will fit ur car door area.

Easy to load up a heavy dog
I have a 75 pound dog. I can’t lift him due to a hip replacement and my husband can’t due to a port in his neck for cancer treatment. When my sister had a emergency with her large dog, I realized how vulnerable I am should something happen and a vet visit was necessary. I ordered this because I would rather have it and not need it, than to really need one and not have one. It’s a little insurance for a rainy day. It is simply to fold and is sturdy with NOTHING to assemble. It’s sitting in the garage, but it’s one less thing to have to worry about it. Pet parent score !!!

SLIPPERY NOT STURDY SO OUR 65LB BOXER DOESN'T FEEL IT'S STEADY
We tried everything with this ramp Our dog needed this but it would not work out. It's not steady enuf for a 65lb dog it side sways so our Boxer kept getting off she was afraid to fall. Keep in mind Our Boxer can go up a footstool to the bed, she can learn anything since a pup, very smart. But the only time she would cross this slippery plastic if when it was flat on our living room floor & treats offered. Even then her paws slid across as she walked on it flat on the floor. She was having nothing to do when it was perched like a ramp to help her get up our deck or into our Suv. I think the middle fold causes it not be as steady as it can. Hubby is thinking he will have to build something this is not it. Our 10 year old boxer can learn anything but this she was letting us know it's a NO.

Durable
I didn’t realize that ups had dropped this at the end of my driveway. I accidentally ran over the box with my tractor, which is not some dinky lawn machine. It’s a heavy duty “pick up a couple of logs and put them over there” machine. I wanted to cry when I realized what I’d done because I’d been so excited to finally be able to get my old German shepherd into my truck without covering myself in mud. I was sure the ramp would be smashed to pieces, but to my surprise it was in great condition after being smooshed into the ground by my tractor. One corner had a crack, but the ramp functions perfectly. My kids have used it for bikes and toy cars. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
