This cable did exactly what it said it would do. It powered up my Garmin 50LM without any problems and has functioned perfectly. I paired it with the pictured dual USB A outlet that plugs into a 12 volt receptacle. Now I'm prepared for any rental car outlet configuration, USB or 12v receptacle. I also can now ditch my bulky old Garmin power cable. Armed with my 50LM with the latest Europe maps, dual USB plug, and new power cable, I'm ready for my next trip. Great product!

I'm looking for a USB cable to power my Garmin Zumo, and the product description was just vague enough to take a chance. Sadly, the 90 degree portion is too large to allow the unit head to nestle in its cradle. This is a shame because it means I'll have to either, swap the BMW sized charging socket for a universal Battery Tender type connection, or, install a BMW charging socket somewhere on my Grom. Not the end of the world, but dang it, a free ride woulda been nice!

it works well foe my Garmin Nuvi 40 LM and it's plenty long enough to move my Garmin most anywhere I could ever need it!

We're in the 2020's, most cars have USB power ports, not cigarette lighters, yet Garmin ships new GPS units with a cigarette lighter plug power adaptor. (I won't even get into how they are still using an early 1990's USB input on their devices...). This handy cord powers the device without triggering data transfer mode, unlike all the other power cords I've tried, and for less than half the price of the OEM accessory cord. So, basically, Garmin uses an old style cable (meanwhile, the rest of the electronics world has long since moved to USB micro, many shifting to USB-C) wired differently to show 'power not data' to the device, where most devices either detect data transfer signals, or have the option to disable data transfer in the settings menu.Great GPS, too bad you have to search far and wide for an affordable, proper accessory mobile power cord.

Works perfectly on my Garmin Tread

Powers up the Garmin GPS as advertised but the GPS will not adjust the brightness into daylight mode even when showing 100% brightness. So the GPS is only viewable at night or indoors. Pretty much useless in my SXS for most of my use. Might need some tweaks on the power output of the cord.

Got this for my garmin because when it is attached to my motorcycle, it tries to sync. Saw a video about this product on youtube as a work around for that problem and it works perfectly.

Replaces the charger for my Garmin. A bit overpriced for a cable but does work. The Garmin simply charges whether plugged into a USB charger in the car, or on the USB port of my computer. I wanted to test this out. For the price, the cable could be a little longer... as 5 feet is a bit short for use in a car. Would be better if between 6 to 7 feet.5 feet was OK for my minivan, but a bigger vehicle would need more length.

I bought 2 mini usb cables for garmin. This one is charge only. The other is charge & data. If you buy the one that supports data you won't see the map. Your Garmin will look for a connected computer exclusively. Careful!
