Bought this for my Surface Pro 7 and it works great. I've used it to run my second monitor, read usb drives, and SD cards. They all work great. I especially like the fact that the block can sit behind the computer instead of it sticking out the side of my surface like the last interface I was using. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to expand the outputs on their surface tablet.

I wanted something to use in my office instead of those $100+ docking stations. Works GREAT. My primary goal was to give it a static IP address for a back hall I use. This way I can RDP to the static address from my regular PC and access all the functionality. Works great. No software to install and so far I'm pretty happy with it.

I got this one to replace a defective docking station since they took a long time to respond back and replace the unit. This docking station worked great, right out of the box. I have a 32" and a 27" monitor connected to my 2020 Macbook Pro. A great thing about this docking station is for whatever reason with my previous docking station I could only get the sound to come from my macbook, not the monitor speakers. This docking station allows me to use either for sound!The one and only downside/annoyance is whenever my displays turn off its hit or miss if when I wake them, the screens will be connected. Most times they wont wake up and I have to open my macbook, log in, unplug the docking station and then replug the docking station. It wouldn't be so much of an annoyance if all of my windows didn't shrink to fit a 13" screen and I have to resize and reposition everything.I love the amount of ports on this one, and the USB C on the front. My previous docking station broke because they said I am unable to charge something in any of the ports so I've been afraid to charge anything but I can stick my work security key in the USB C and it works without me having to lean back to my macbook.

I have a Surface Pro with limited connections so this Dock is great for what I need it for.It was better than expected, I like have so many ports available for use. It gives me options for USB, HDMI, VGA. I'm pleased with this product.

When I first plugged this in it didn't work at all, then it mysteriously started working then it mysteriously stopped working again and now I can't get it to work at all. Sometimes a device will work in one port but not the others, other times it will work in all of them, or it will turn on but not do anything. The HDMI will sometimes output a signal to the monitor, sometimes no signal. It's just a mystery box that gives you nothing 9 times out of 10.

Connection issues are very annoying. I am constantly having to replug it into my laptop or unplug and plug back in individual usb or hdmi connections to get it working temporarily. HDMI likes to go out randomly on its own. I hooked it up to a 4k monitor and it would only support 2k resolution. I tested the same monitor with a $12 usb-c hub here on amazon and it worked great outputting to 4k resolution. I also attempted using the ethernet RJ45 port since I wanted to keep this hub connected on my desk, and no matter what drivers or ethernet interface changes I made, it would only negotiate to 100 mbps, not 1 gig. Even when I dug into the settings and forced 1000 mbps speed and full duplex, this device would still only do 100 mbps. I connected my desktop PC into the same port on my router and instantly got 1 gig. I couldn't use it anyways because even the ethernet connection would constantly go in and out just like everything else that connects to this device. I even had a further indicator when I kept seeing my usb stick routinely popping up on my screen saying my storage was connected. Absolute garbage for $50. The $12 I got on amazon works perfectly, just doesn't have as many ports as this one.
