Spring loaded Kleins are the way to go.
This is my 4th pair I always end up passing them along to the new guy but when I first introduced spring loaded iron workers pliers to my crews I noticed a significant increase in efficiency.

2 years later
I still got these and I use them at work.

Pretty cool
I really just wanted to try the handle. I already know klein plyers are the best. they have fish scale like teeth that aim towards the handle so they bite strong when pulling. the handle is pretty cool. I work in commercial concrete and we tie our own rebar. I asked a buddy who is a veteran union rod buster about these handles and he said "I don't know, the first thing i do is cut the grips off and remove the spring. but I know other guys that like them"...show off.

I named my pliers “Rowdy” I love them
I absolutely love them I work in the fabricating rebar field so I’m constantly cutting, tying, pulling etc a lot of wire to tie the rebar together & I love the size it’s the perfect size so I can hold onto them while I’m tying the wire & it doesn’t get in the way the handles are nice & soft & the ridges are deep so I can get a nice grip on the wire I couldn’t be more happier with them these are my babies & I’m never switching out I even named them “Rowdy” it’s short for “Rowdy Rowdy Pliers”

Take the spring out
Best pliers ive used but you cant use them to their full abilitys till the spring gets removed the spring doesnt allow you to close the teeth all the way and it caused me to hit my self a couple times while tying rebar. The teeth are meatier than the blues so they have a better bite for wire but like said not with the spring so if you require the spring i dont reccomend

if you work with tie wire, these are a MUST have
Absolutely LOVE these pliers! My go to pliers for slab days at work.Pros:Light weightComfortable in the hands, even after prolonged use (8hrs+)You'll never catch a pair of pliers in the face again because of how aggressive the grip these things have when grabbing at tie wireCons:The head is a little smaller than I'm use to so there are times where I intend to grab and pull tie wire I end up snipping them instead, but after shift of using these you adjust.

Perfect pliers
Exactly what I needed

Stays sharp
These things get abused daily in the rebar businessThey remain sharp for about a year and then it’s time for a new setNot cheap but worth the money for sure
