I used a 15 amp fuse on my tractor and closer to the source would be better. Pumps are designed to push better than they pull.

Q: Is a 10 amp 12v toggle switch ok for this ?

Don't ever tap into the line going to your coil for an accessory, as it will take voltage from your ignition. Been there done that and misfires can happen. Better to go off ignition switch or a toggle as you suggest; which also doubles as a security feature.
