Please read this to avoid my mistake.
At first I was disappointed. I put the bigger level in my action, then the small one on my elevation turret. When the bubbles said each level was level, you could see an obvious difference between the stock and scope, heavily canted on both. I put a torpedo level on my work bench, leveled it and put the gunsmith levels on that. They both checked out perfectly. I put them back in and on the rifle and same thing, way out of plumb. Oh well, it's only a few dollars lost. I did what I have done in the past and leveled it by eye.A few days later a friend stopped by to see how this build was going an I mentioned this leveling tool and the problems I had. He asked to see them and as soon as he heard they were magnetic he put the big one in the receiver and pushed down on the base. Low and behold it was now level with the other piece. Apparently the magnet was lifting itself up slightly to another part of the action and I didn't notice. Just as a side note, my eye ball leveling was spot on with the bubble levels(calibrated eyes).

It works.
Got this to try to put a scope on a rifle. It helps A LOT, as it's gotta be level to be accurate this helped achieve that. For the price? Just get them. They're good. Would recommend.

Handy gadget
for the money well worth it. Has always accomplished scope leveling with a door frame other plumb fixture, but believe this was a little more accurate at least for scope mounting for shooters looking for accuracy to about 150 yards and 1 MOA at 100 yds.

Not spot on level
Just received these. Easy to check accuracy by tu Erning the level end to end to see if the bubble is in the same place. Even if it's not a level surface. Or take a hard flat surface and shim it till the bubble is in the same place. I just put marks to show where real level is. See photos: first one, on hard flat surface, but not level, bubble close to top line; second one, level switched top to bottom, bubble not near same line which now the bottom line, indicating level is not right; 3rd and 4th ones, surface leveled, on switching ends of level, it is about in the same place, so I put new marks (hard to see) on the level to show me the surface it's on is level. Inexpensive level, I got what I paid for it, but I've fixed it to work. BTW, I wish people who say buy another level would recommend on that's really good...

Shortcut for Easy Scope Mounting
These inexpensive small levels used in a set allow the person to mount the scope in a perfectly level position initially without any future adjustment for parallel. Nothing worse than looking at a slightly crooked scope croww-hair. Simply place the magnetic base level on the firearm action after setting eye relief and then the other level on scope itself. Level magnetic first, then adjust scope to level with upper unit.

Not level from factory. Some custom work needed.
Bought this to level a Remington 700. It made leveling a breeze compared to eyeing it. You might have to file down a side on the smaller piece as if you place them side to side 80% of the time they are not level. When I first put them side to side they were not level. Then I flipped one and it was level. Placed the smaller piece on the turret and the magnet piece on the end of the action.

Basic but useful
I have used them for so many of my rifles. They were well. But it’s made outta plastic so it’s not heavy enough to stay in steady like ones I have used before where they were made of steel and magnetic at its base. For this price, I wouldn’t be complaining too much. I’ll be upgrading next I need these.
