Q: Have people who bought this for older kitties who need a lower-the-ground entry been happy? This came up when I specifically searched for that. Thanks

Thrilled with this item. I bought for a older (12 yrs) Munchkin cat (very short legs) who also has arthritis---this is the ONLY litterbox that she is able to easily get into. Our other cat who is younger and doesn't yet have any mobility issues also likes this box. And, t seems to work well for keeping litter inside the box. I also like that it's easy to clean---anything that sticks easily washes off. This box is also easy to move--the handles make it easy to grip. The BEST litterbox purchase I've ever made--and I've been a cat pet-parent for over 40 years.

Q: does it use any litter

We had a very old cat with artyrotis and the low lip made it easy for him to get in and out of the litter box. It worked great for our cat.

Q: I noticed that someone posted the inside and outside dimensions, but could anyone tell me the height of the front opening?

The front opening is only 4 inches high.
