I’ve had recurring kneecap alignment issues over the years, and re-aggravated the problem when I was bucked off a horse. I had two weeks to mend before a scheduled hike with friends that I really didn’t want to cancel. My knee continued to hurt doing simple things like walking around my neighborhood, so in a last ditch effort I ordered this product. I was amazed how well it worked! I managed a moderate hike of just under 8 miles with 2300ft of elevation gain on my “bum knee” with hardly any pain at all. I’ll wear this on all of my hikes going forward. My only advice is to actually measure before you order. Being a unisex product, I just assumed I’d wear small but had to reorder in a medium—there’s a velcro patch that would rub your skin if the straps aren’t overlapping enough.

My husband has an offset patella after a work injury he sustained years ago. We bought this to try and alleviate some of his discomfort and to help realign his knee for better tracking while walking.Though this brace is moderately cheap, it is amazing! When he wears this brace, his pain is gone and he can walk for longer stints without starting to get uncomfortable. It’s also extremely low profile and if he wears it under jeans, it’s nearly undetectable.It can be machine washed and allowed to air dry, which we found to be the easiest way to keep it clean.Highly recommended!

My knee hurt after wearing it. I'm not sure why. I usually wear Cho-Pat's version (the original maker) and have never had a problem. Cho-Pat's is only like $5 more so I would recommend it over this one. I bought another one of those and didn't have any pain. It also seems to have stronger (and longer) silicon tubes and Velcro straps too.

Worn this in hikes and snow shoeing in the mountains and it added extra support to my knee. Downfall is that is tends to slide down with too much movement and depending on the material that you’re wearing

I've been having knee tracking issues that seriously hampered by running. This strap, along with several rehab exercises, has been helpful on my road to recovery.

Do not use if you have skin allergy. I only put on the knee support for an hour and started to have serious hives. The package does not have any warnings about skin allergy. Stay away if you have skin susceptibility.
