Definitely NOT 4K.
Saw a lot of reviews saying they couldn't get the unit to link up and I know that's because they're trying to use a 5gHz network instead of 2.4gHz.Pros....-Fairly intuitive UI. My unit was up and connected nearly instantly. Took maybe a solid 10 minutes to thumb through everything and figure it out.-Can keep the camera in a constant record mode to SD card AND get a motion detection notification on your mobile device.-Emergency notification gives you a stillframe of the instant it was tripped, giving you the opportunity to screenshot in case the unit gets stolen.-Supports up to ¼Tb of storage.-Can choose between FHD and UHD storage on the SD card to save space if needed.-Can keep plugged in like a regular security cam.-Is fairly easy to keep discrete and magnet was way more strong than I expected. Nice and sturdy, yet pan is able to be adjusted.-Can choose a custom notification from any audio file on your device. The factory ones are horrendous, but will definitely get your attention.Cons....-Even in UHD mode, image is a pretty grainy 1080.-Colors are off; green shows up as purple (but my gross trees look cherry blossoms now 😁).-There's no control for iris, so any light on light colors starts blowing out the image and giving a glow.-Motion detection is done through a proxy sensor and not a video sensor and the proxy sensor is quite short range; maybe 10 feet/3 meters. I was able to walk around on video without tripping the alert. Stepping outside the door did do the trick every time though.-Power supply is limited as of now. Is hovering at about 60% all day, but would be nice to get to 100% for power outages. I'm charging down a 30-foot USB extension cable. All and all, for the money, this is a really good camera. It will serve its roll as a discrete spy cam better than a permanent install the way I'm using it. This works fine for the short amount of time and little money spent until I can decide on a bigger unit that will need researching for the money they are asking. Bought me some time and peace of mind.Worth the price.

Wanted to like it but cannot use without their app
The camera is small, compact, and looks nice. The problems are all with the software. To set the camera up you MUST use their app. It is frustrating that there isn't a simple web app hosted on the camera for this like many other IP cameras, and to make it worse you have to create an account with them and verify your email before you can start using it. The terms of service are also quite irregular if you read through them.Once you're in the app the basic setup is fairly easy. You'll need a good 2.4GHz AP. I have an over priced mesh (supports both 5&2.4GHz) with multiple satellites that it performed poorly with. It works well with other 2.4GHz devices like Raspberry Pi's streaming video but maybe the camera has a poor antenna. I ended up dusting off an old netgear access point and it performed okay enough to stream video to the app, but no way I'm setting up a dedicated network for this one camera.Once you get the video to stream, its disappointing that it doesn't appear to be any kind of usable/consumable standard like RTSP. My network adblocker/piHole also noticed it requesting a lot of odd sites, but maybe no worse than my Samsung TV I hope. The third biggest problem is the video clips are stored in an MKV format, and are not easy to read on a Mac. I had to use a windows VM to see the video, windows 11 doesn't even support that codec out of the box, and the clips were not in 4k - I tried changing the HD and other settings in the app, but none of the resolutions were close to 4k.Overall it is a convenient size and almost cute, but really needs to better follow open standards. I really wanted it to work, was actually going to change my plans to try keep this as a small 4k critter cam for some house rabbits, but too much proprietary that it won't work. If they used a standard video format to record to the SD card, supported RTSP, and actually saved 4k I'd happily pay more.

Good camera with some issues
Pros:• Automatic IR switching works pretty well.• Image quality is pretty good as long as nothing is moving.• MicroSD card locks in place and is easy to get out.• Physical on/off switch leaves no question to if camera is turned on when indicators are disabled.• Several configurable options for indicator lights, 2-way audio levels, FHD/UHD, alarms, etc.• App is pretty easy to use.• Non-proprietary charging cable. Uses standard MicroUSB.• Magnetic base is pretty strong.Cons:• Only file format is MKV (Matroska) with a horribly low bitrate encoding.• Have yet to get more than 15 fps on a video even though it is supposed to support up to 30 fps.• Front facing side of camera is shiny and reflective. Makes it pretty easy to notice when light hits it.• Pairing or "binding" the camera to the wireless network and app can be a bit tricky.Notes:The big draw on this is the video framerate and abysmal bitrate. Still images or video backgrounds look pretty good for a camera in this price point, though I'd debate if it was really 4K or even 1080p quality. The issue comes when anything starts moving, especially in IR night vision mode. Objects in movement get super pixelated and have pretty bad screen tearing.

Works great for us! Customer service spot on!!!
We got this for our cats. They are indoor and outdoor cats and love to bring home there treasures/kills, lol. We leave al times for 1 to 2 weeks and like to know if we have something n the house so we can call family to remove. So we wanted the motion activated so we know when they are in the house. Had an issue with setting it up and they where so helpful. Set was supper easy and connected the 1st try. Battery life is maybe a day but we had planed to leave it plugged in so no issues for us.I would give it 5 stars on all questions as supper happy but it is not perfect, and I never give a 100% so my 4 stars are like anyone else 5 star.
