Bad
Terrible, bought 2 of them, both leaked very badly from hose connection end with rubber gasket in place. Dont buy.

Threads are leas than perfect
I bought three of these from Amazon to put on my four port Melnor faucet timer. I already had one of these from the local big box store, and haven’t had the slightest problem with that one. The three I ordered from Amazon, though, have less than perfect threads (on both ends) that required my using two pairs of channel lock pliers to install them without leaking (and one still does leak a bit). I’d say it could be the Melnor timer…but I had the 5/8”-funny-pipe-to-FGHT adapter on there with no leaks before putting this regulator on there, and I didn’t have to use tools for that.

So far a nice regulator

pipe thread
Works perfectly. Note that this pressure regulator is *pipe thread* not hose thread. It is NOT designed to attach to a regular spigot/hose bib or garden hose, and it will leak if you try. The description could be more clear on this to prevent people from buying the wrong item.

Check the threads - pipe vs hose !
Many of the other comments here seem to indicate that people don't read the specification details.Various fitments...Raindrip 46500UB = pipe thread, in and out, 30psi (the item on this page - NOT for use with a garden hose)Raindrip 46200UB = pipe thread, in and out, 80psiRaindrip 46300UB = garden hose thread, in and out, 30psiRaindrip 45100UB = garden hose thread, in and out, 20psi... their part numbers seem to be allocated at random - not helpful
