Wore these from the moment it started warming up and got at least 6 months of heavy usage.Quite thin in places, but with armoured plates, not sure I'd trust keeping my hand if I came off at 60, but when zipping through town, perfectly fine.Look good when riding, keep your hands cool in the head, provide adequate protection and fun to slap your mates with when they annoy you, what more could you want, really?

The gloves work really well. I love the fact on how my knuckles have extra patting overall great, downside is that through out the day of wearing them my hands start to sweat and then the material feels like wet leather.

The plastic armor is sturdy. Not sure how thick the metal knuckle plates are, but they don't feel like they would stand up to a whole lot of damage. I'd venture to guess the plastic would offer more protection. The gloves themselves are comfortable except for the first knuckle plate on the pinky; that one I can feel digging into my finger on both hands when I close my fist. These would certainly offer more protection in an accident than equivalent gloves without the armored plating, or even most thin leather gloves.

I love these gloves. Very comfy & the fingerless aspect makes for easy cell phone access. But the best part is the plastic bumps on the outside of the palm. Makes it easier to turn the throttle on my trike. Handy for road trips, cuz u only need to apply a bit of wrist pressure to the throttle and you can loosen your grip to give your fingers a break. Will definitely buy again but these are so durable, who knows when that will be.
