This is my fifth transport chair and my second Strongback. I mishandled my first Strongback and it needed replacement after three years. That works out to $.074 a day. I had miss-handled getting the smaller front wheels over low bumps by pushing down on the foldable handlebars too hard. The new Strongback has rear foot pedals that I can press to leverage and lighten up the weight on the front wheels and get them to roll over low bumps. See photo.The delivery via Amazon was much faster than direct from the manufacturer. It came in three days. The manufacturer website said weeks. When I needed an extra part, the customer service was excellent.

For certain outings it’s absolutely necessary to have a transport or lightweight wheelchair for my 18 year old son. He uses a power chair full time and over the years I have bought countless back up chairs that have simply disappointed us in so many ways. This chair is supportive enough, extremely light weight and stylish. The design really keeps both the seat occupant and the attendant in mind. My only issue is not having found this chair sooner and spending so much money on other chairs that never worked well for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this amazing product!!

Completely set up upon arrival. Foot rests swivel to the..less chance of tripping ? Light weight can pick up with one hand..compact..great for travel..

This has made the outdoors an enjoyable activity everyday since we pulled it out of the box ready to go. It is a huge upgrade for us after battling with a poorly made heavy standard wheelchair. A neighbor was using one of these to take his disabled wife for walks. He was able to manage pushing the chair and walk their dog at the same time. He recommended it and he was right, it is worth every dollar.
