Drill any problematic screw with good drill bit first
I have removed 4 damaged screws holding my Graphics card cooler.Firstly use a good drill bit to drill a nice litle hole. And than put on reverse the grooved extractor. If you use given dril bits, they are not very sharp.Overall good

Works great; easy to use (but read on)
These don't come with any instructions, but they're just like any other screw/bolt extractor, so if you haven't done it before, here's how it works:They have a screw thread which turns the "wrong way". So, if you want to remove a damaged screw, put in the extractor and turn it the way you usually would to unfasten the screw - and that torque will tighten the extractor into the damaged fastener until it gets so tight that it's easier for the damaged one to turn instead, and hey presto, it comes out.So it's a bit counterintuitive, but after you've done it once, it's easy in future.Depending on the state of the fastener you're trying to remove, you might want to drill a small hole first, so the extractor has something to dig into. But if you're buying this product, you probably already have a generic drill and HSS bits. These are effectively single-use - once you've removed the damaged fastener - there's no easy way for you to remove the extractor. And they're only cheap so the threads won't be super durable. But how often do you need to remove a stuck bolt?Delivery was very swift and, although there's only one extractor of each size, I now have the tools to remove a dozen other stuck screws and bolts if I need it.

Wrong instruction, be aware. Would not work for my scenario
Firstly, The kit does not come with instructions as it assumes you already have knowledge of how to use it. The product does have pictures on the product page which suggests using the drill bit clockwise and extractor anti-clockwise, but a comment highlights both drill bit and the extractor need to be used in reverse (anti-clockwise). I am not sure if it is the quality of drill or the way I am using it, did not work for me. I am going to have to get another kit from a store maybe and try. Will update this review if the one from store works.

Worked perfect, used for iPhone bottom screws
So I can’t take any pictures as my phone camera is broken, this is why I tried this set so I could get into my iphone, as I stripped the bottom screws. As others have said, no instructions come with the set, but you have clear marking on the foam to indicate what things are. For example, the bits I used were DR#10 (drill bit) to drill the screw down, and one actually caught on the bit and came out, then EX#10 (extractor bit) to get the other screw out. You have to be consistent, the bit will eventually bite and take the screw out. For context, it took me 40mins of going back and forth to get them both out. One flaw would be that the bits are a little unsteady when they are in the holders. I’m sure if you used a drill chuck and not a push in type it will be fine, but in my case I found I was trying to keep everything steady more than I usually would when using drills.

Did the job needed
Did the I wanted it to but bextractors got stuck and the sizes are a little off Would recommend it but sidings and quality could be a little better

Would not recommend
Both of the included extensions as well as the adapter weren't perfectly straight causing them to wobble in use, in the end I just put the bit directly into the drill chuck. I have checked the drill using a known good drill bit and no wobble so the problem is definitely with the extenders in the kit. In the end got the job done but crap quality. Would not recommend.

Perfect worked first time
Worked exactly as intended, wasn't sure if it would after reading some of the other reviews but this got me out of a tricky spot after shearing a bolt head. Used a 2.5mm drill bit and the #8 screw remover in an impact driver and it came straight out, lifesaver!

This is amazing!
The description of the product detailed it was designed for extracting screws by drilling into the head of the damaged item. However, I had broken a bolt - the head was completely removed, and the threaded part of the bolt was the only part left which was in its housing. So I knew I was going to be asking a lot for this to work.1st of all, I didn’t think the bits for drilling into the bolt were very good. Maybe the metal in a bolt was too strong and a screw may have been made from a softer metal? So I used my smallest metal drill bit. When the hole was deep enough to hold the depth of the screw bit, I started with the smallest bit. If the bit didn’t grip anything, I moved up to the next larger screw bit and so on. By the time I used the 3rd smallest screw bit, it griped the bolt and unscrewed it! Amazing!Just as a reminder. These bits work in reverse as you are unscrewing the damaged screw/bolt. I also used a low gear in my screw driver.
