LOCKDOWN LIAISONS

Too many loopholes in this book ..it's not like Shobha de other novels which are crafted perfectly ...this one it seems is written in a hurry and full effort has been done to make it a masala best seller with unwanted scenes as Srilajees fantasy ....characters are left midway and the reader thinks ....what happened to that character ?what happened to him? But one thing in which shobha de is a master is that she transports you to the world of Srilaajee and you keep looking for more to her life and feel maybe like web series there will be Srilajee part 2 .However the character herself is not one whom you will like ...she comes as a selfish woman to the core ...but then that's the character for you ....overall it could have been way better

Lazy writing pop-lit masquerading as socially relevant literary work. ‘Make a list of all the headlines of suffering we saw during the pandemic and write a story for each one’ seems to have been the modus operandi of this work. Uninspired, insipid, repetitive.

Shobha De has written a racy, bebaak novel which keeps you heavily involved the the life of the main character and you move alongside her in her life's journey smiling, laughing and even crying with her.

A masterful story of the hidden lives of the elite often not told. Thanks Ms. De for a brilliant and breezy read

A bit disoriented, mostly not sure how to take forward the storyline.Well, I sure read thru this, but leave it as empty handed as when I picked it up. Thanks S De.

Did not enjoy reading the book, how can the writer imagine such a story line, infact there is no storyline at all
