If you've been practicing writing or ink drawing for a while and want to try some funky different felt pens, check these out. This pack has two identical heavy brush pens and and two identical active straight pens. The black pen is a heavy brush style that gets about 1mm to 0.5mm with pressure (down to 0.1mm while lifting). The blue pen is a 0.7mm pen with a lot of bounce (-0.1mm to +0.1mm change in width) hence why I call it active.These pens are very "squishy" compared with a Copic or Sakura pen. I mostly do architectural drawings, so I just see these as a novelty. They can be useful on big drawings for organic shapes though, I will give them that. They also are very fun to write with and hold up to a bit more abuse than straight-nib pens.

Love these! They work so well for my small scale lettering projects like envelopes and little notes. Will definitely be buying more in the future! I just wish they came in multiple color choices.

The two pens that I received were great. I'm not sure why I didn't receive four like the listing stated, but Amazon reimbursed me for what I didn't receive. These pens are brush pens, but with a smaller brush on the end than something like a regular Tombow brush pen.. I find them very useful for Bible journaling.

So, the brush lettering thing is much harder for me that a calligraphy bib, but these really helped in learning. They were the first pens that I could really control line thickness with. As soon as my friend that I am learning with tried them she ordered them as well.

These pens are probably our favorites we've used ever. We have probably purchased about 20 over the last 2 years and keep going back to this brand and style of pen. The ink distributes well, doesn't bleed, and makes the most PERFECT pen for any kind of handlettering or caligraphy.

After reading that others received dead pens I opened and checked all immediately. (After allowing them to come to room temp by laying flat on my table for an hour, first.) All are in perfect condition and since I love this product I am thrilled.

I LOVE these for brush calligraphy. These were the best price at the time I purchased. They are great becasue they are the Japanese version, much better than the USA version. Japan is NOT china.

Do not believe them when they say it is 4 pens. I received only two pens. One of each type instead of two of each type as claimed in the product description. The packaging even says that it's 4 pens, but there was only two in my order.

I like
