BELLMoto-9 MIPS Dirt Helmets

Now that I switched out the pads It fits great. I really like the features on this helmet and visibility is great and pretty light weight.

At first it felt a bit too tight but once broken in it feels perfect. Great helmet overall. Only drawback is that it is a bit on the heavier side.

I've worn Bell almost all my life. I have a round head and the Bell is the best fit for me. The comfort is a 10, Safety features are a 10, color scheme is a 10.

I have a round head and these Bells fit it perfectly. I've worn Bell helmets all my life and they just keep getting more and more comfortable and better looking. Note, with these helmets you can swap out cheek pads for thicker or thinner ones. I have chubby cheeks so I ordered a thinner set of cheek pads. Perfect fit!

I have not recieved the helmet yet and requested to cancel the order, possibly re-ordering based on my very specific need. The only reason I placed this order was because I was under the impression that it comes with speaker cutouts. After reading several articles and seeing the advertised helmet on many websites, I discovered that that they are using the same photo for the Bell Moto-9 MIPS helmet as they are for the Bell MX-9 MIPS helmet. After speaking with my local retailer, who obviously sell helmets at a higher price than Amazon, they informed me that the Moto-9 MIPS helmet does NOT have the cutouts, nor does it have the same ventilation, or the same helmet shell material construction. I told myself I would never buy a helmet off the internet without actually trying it on first, or in this case observing the interior to see if this model has actual holes for the speakers. All motocross helmets of which I have 2 already, have an open area for the ears, but putting a metal speaker into the opening is not only extremely dangerous, but uncomfortable unless it is specifically designed to accommodate a bluetooth communication system. I have an adventure helmet for example, that is a Shoei Hornet X2, and with the shield and side mechanism removed, can be used off road with goggles. The problem with it is the weight of that helmet is over 4 lbs and is unacceptably heavy for rough terrain. Instead of responding to my concerns as to the helmet I ordered had actual speaker pockets, they just shipped it. Now, If it comes in and does not meet the obvious observation, It will have to be returned immediately.
