Cute and works great
This was one of my birthday gifts to my husband, and he really loved it. Since it takes a while to freeze, I got him a set of two so he can always have one in the freezer.Pros:- Adorable! I love how these look, and it's ultimately why I ended up choosing these.- Work well! I was skeptical, but it really does turn into a slushie! The standard technique creates more of a liquidy slushie, but you can fiddle around with how you make it to create a thicker consistency, like an Icee.- High quality and solid build.- The experience of using the set and watching it turn into a slushie is honestly really fun and sweet!Cons:- Very slow. You need to put it in the freezer for many hours before you can use it. Because of this, I bought a set of two, but I imagine that just using one could be a little annoying.- Easy to use, maybe takes a little effort to master. I don't mind at all how it is with its basic functionality. However, my husband's very particular, and he spent a while mastering a technique where it turns out with the exact consistency he wants it. If you're also quite specific about your expectations, then you may want to take a while to experiment with how you use this. Ice makes a huge difference for him.

Super Easy Slush Maker like when I was a kid, any kid could use
Late 80s I had some slush makers that you froze in freezer and took out to pour sugary drink in and scrap sides with a spoon to create the slush. Back then as now, the process is faster by putting the freezer tube back in freezer with drink in it, then take out and scrape sides every 30 seconds so you have a Slushie in 5 minutes or less. Fast forward to today with this slush maker, the same is true, the size is about the same as then (fits about 2/3 to 3/4 of a 12ounce can of soda in it). But one thing is different, this one came with a slush scraper tool that works really good in both directions you can use it and great stirring the entire sides and round inside bottom. So you can scrape all sides completely and very quickly to make your Slushie the fastest you possibly can. And when your drink ices up a bit more than you meant to let it, the tool is very good at scraping it down till side is clean, or using more pressure with tool front against the side to slam the curved edge of scoop against that thicker ice to dislodge it. Now if you leave it till its fairly solid ice then you will have to wait for it to melt or use a real spoon to slowly scrape the ice off so you don't stress the edges of the given scoop scraper too much (I've put it through its paces with over 20 slushies now (refreezing between each) and it's still working great and the scraper edges still shaped perfect without any wear on it (still smooth). This is the best Slushie maker out of the 2 kinds I bought. Both worked. But I prefer the design of this one (thick freeze walls means its cold enough to make a slushie in 4-6 hours of freezing the freezer cup so far as I have seen it work and this one slushies up much faster; it has a rounded bottom so its much easier to scrape the bottom clear of all ice with the awesome scraper tool or regular spoon). (The other Slushie maker was the Slushie Puppy one, it could hold a tiny bit more liquid..few tablespoons worth, but was designed with thinner walls and flat bottom; which means the slush maker needs more freeze time to work at all and takes 10-15 min to fully slush up unlike this one which is fully slushed up in 5 min or less; plus it gave a scraper with a straw attached which means it takes longer to clean even if only used for the scraper...plus if left in drink at beginning of it slushing up sometimes the drink will be pushed up and out of straw if left alone in the drink...so many reasons I prefer this cola one's plain scraper tool that's also more sturdy to scrape the ice from sides). In total this Slushie maker deserves 6 stars!! Its fast, easy to use, and comfortable to use, plus faster to clean (the inside width is perfect sides to use the kitchen brush cleaner stick wands for a few seconds to fully clean inside fast). If the scraper tool left in drink as it slushies up it hasn't caused any problems at all.The other Slushie maker I tried (slush puppy one) was ok deserving 3-4 stars at least since it does work, but it takes longer to get cold enough, takes longer to make the drink a slushie, takes longer to clean, can be messy with straw, straw tool not comfortable in the hand to use, and lastly the angle of the straw scraper can be awkward to use and harder for younger kids to use correctly.

Top 5 purchases of my life.
It's a silly thing to say that this product of all products has impacted my life in such a way but the honest truth is that this thing is used multiple times a day in my house and has transformed the way I approach snacks with me and my kids. In an odd twist, we now each a lot more crushed fruit because of this thing. Just about any sugary liquid you pour in will turn into some sort of delicious slushy. Balling up watermelon for the kids? Crush some with a spoon and pour the juice in with the pulp, watermelon slushy. Breakfast ovaltine? Homemade wendy's chocolate frosty. It's simple. It works. It doesn't pretend to be more than what it is. 10/10

Works great with SUGARED soda
We tried these with zero-type sodas and it wouldn’t create a slush. It would just freeze to the sides. I was about to return these but then tried with a sugared soda and they work perfectly with those. Only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the vessel is so small. Only holds maybe 1/2 can of soda, but overall it’s a great product.

Absolutely works... But
This works. But some things to note. This doesnt work well without sugar, so zero drinks arent going to freeze well, which I am staying away from drinking sugar. So it's a treat for me to go buy a normal soda and use this. The instructions and trouble shooting say you need to freeze for at least 8 hours, but it wont take that long to try it. Maybe 8 hours lets you get more time/drink thru it to freeze. For like 4-5 hours in my cold freezer will fully freeze half a 20 oz and then refilling has a lesser freezability. Maybe 8 hours prefrozen core will allow a freezing second fill.I bought a cheep freeze-squeeze cup before this. The cup is silicon to freeze and squeeze to break the ice into slush, but the inner core is like the same crap as an inflatable pool toy with some special liquid in it to freeze hard. The cheap freeze squeeze is cold as heck to hold and warns to not use if you rupture the inflatable pool toy core, so that is not worth going cheap....Get this coke brand one with the solid freeze core, the red plasic cup keeps your hands away from frozen cold. This coke brand one is far superior.
