Best Volcano Activity Kit
I have tried several Volcano Science kits and this one has been the favorite. I appreciate the fact that it takes at least three days to do this activity. One day of prepping/ casting, one day of painting, and then you are ready for the volcano eruption. The fact that the volcano can be erupted over and over is a game changer too.

No chamber inside volcano, not enough materials
Get something different. This is so poorly thought out. There’s no chamber for inside the volcano to pour in the chemicals for an explosion and it doesn’t even tell you to get your own or anything. If you build this the way they tell you too, you’ll just be pouring chemicals onto a cardboard circle in the volcano. It’s just incredibly poorly thought out in a way that is confusing for something that actually made it to market, was packaged, advertised, stocked and sold. It’s kind of rare to see something that is produced by adults to be of this quality; you’d think someone would have caught it!

Good model kit, but caused a mess.
I got this model kit as part of a project, and I thought it would be good and fun to build. It’s quality, but the plaster is hard to handle.

Missing pieces
The kit itself was good but we were missing some main pieces, like the center if the volcano ….my son had a school project due so I didn’t have time to send it back and get a new one so we had to improvise.

no instructions
missing instructions and the posters.the trees and dinosaurs cut outs literally have to be cut out front the box it’s not perforated and the box isn’t the thinnest. not the easiest task.

Did not erupt
My poor grandson was the only kid in his class with a volcano that failed to erupt, I can't express how disappointed he was....the whole school was there for the "show"

This product is nothing like what the box shows.
I am a mom who bought this for my kid’s science project. There is not enough plaster strips to cover the cardboard structure that makes the “volcano.” There is very little paint. We needed to buy loads more paint. It says you need newspaper, so we bought tons of it thinking it was for the paper mache but no- it’s for the mess it makes. The “explosion” looks like moisture flowing down, but there is no explosion.
