I've been scrubbing teak benches using the Star Brite 2-in-1 Cleaner & Brightener product. These scrubbers did a good job of loosening the dirt from the wood. In this particular instance, the white was too soft, but the red and black pads were great. I wish they lasted a bit longer though.

Finally used it so I can say from experience it's great stuff. I had a teak table, no finish, on the porch for 10+ years. It was never directly in the rain but did get a little. Things were placed on top. I have never done anything like this before and was nervous but I needed to either clean up that table or toss it. I called Starbrite to make sure I understood how to use it and, I suppose, to get some encouragement. They were great. The table looks great. Took 4 coats of oil but looks brand new. I might just get a new one for the porch and find a place for this classy looking piece of furniture for the house. I used the cleaner, brightener, oil and the scrub pads.

The lowest abrasion pad pretty much disintegrated after first use.

Used for cleaning the tunes on our pontoon. All of the different grip texture. Some areas of grime were a little more difficult to get off but these got everything clean.

Works great, but... I have a teak table and chair set, and they have been neglected for over 10 years. They are pure gray right now, with black moldiness in some spots. I did one chair last night to test out the Starbrite 3 step system with these pads. The red pad was about 75% shot after one chair, and using both sides of the pad. I also worked in the black coarse pad towards the end for the rougher spots. I will need to order at least two more of these scrubber kits to get through my whole set and get it back to original condition, but it will be worth it! Overall, I'm happy with this product.

Definately better than just a sponge. The hard back plastic piece helps with increasing pressure for easier cleaning.
