Snoozer Pet Products Rectangle Cozy Cave Dog Bed, Extra Large, Heather Gray

Our dog has had a round cozy cave bed for seven years that was just slightly too snug as he grew. (But still in perfect shape!) We decided it was time for an upgrade and went with the big rectangular one. We have a 70 pound, tall Vizsla and much to his annoyance... he and I both can fit inside! LoL. (I am 5'7" and small build). He absolutely loves this bed. The padding on bottom seems a little thin, but could easily add more fluff. The olive green cover is very nice. Happy with purchase. Good quality.

Great quality, our dog loves it. We have a German shorthaired pointer and he loves being under blankets so this is perfect for him. He is usually on the couch with us but sometimes chooses to lay on this bed instead

This pup bed is a huge win for us! We have an anxious rescue dachshund mix who is happiest when burrowed under blankets. We ordered this bed for her, but we’re unsure if she would be too afraid to go in. She absolutely LOVES this bed and has been able to self-soothe and fall peacefully asleep in the safety of the soft cave. Our girl is about 20lbs and we could easily fit 3 of her in the large bed. The bed is well made with lots of stuffing to create a comfy sleeping place. The opening is propped enough to allow her to get in by herself and the back falls gently like a blanket so she can feel safe and contained.

Dog loves this cozy cave. She perhaps loves it a bit too much and peed on the outside pullover lid. I caught this after finishing my breakfast so her urine had been on the cover for about 15 minutes. Unfortunately this soaked through the cover into the bed and onto the floor. While this may have good weather resistance properties I would not call it waterproof and I would say that even water resistance is a bit of a misleading statement. The materials don't absorb the liquid but they do easily pass it through. Everything was soaked including the stuffing which made of a less than awesome clean up. Other than that tough the dog finds it comfy, she snuggles right under the cover and I am very thankful that the tube and the cover to allow for a machine wash. I got the Large Celtic Sea Salt model. My dog is about 60 lbs and this bed is very spacious for her. I think I could have probably gone one size down and she would have still had plenty of room and it would fit a little nicer under my desk. All in all, its a great dog bed and putting a bit of a coating on the outside should prevent the bed from getting soaked next time.

This is a great design for a GSP who likes to be totally covered and toasty warm. We didn't even have to teach her how to get in. No more getting up to cover her in the middle of the night when she inevitably gets cold. Yay!

If you have a dog who loves to snuggle under the blankets, they'll love this bed. My GSP doesn't like the hoop that holds it open, but it's removable, and she can still burrow inside and get cozy. Great quality and held up fine for it's first washing.

My little boy needed a bed to keep him warm. He's not allowed on the sofa, so I wanted him to have something really comfy for himself. He's already had two other beds, but neither seemed to make him seem really comfortable. I saw this and thought it would be perfect. I was hesitant to spend as much money as this was for a dog bed, but I figured I would just keep trying out other beds that didn't work anyway. At first, he didn't know how to get in it. It's so full, that he rolled off a couple of times, but he soon figured out how to get cozy. When he's sleeping on this bed, I can see how relaxed he is. I haven't had to wash it yet, so I can't comment on that, but I hope it's as easy as advertised. I bought the large and my boy is only 40 lbs., so I might have been able to go one size down, but he's got lots of room.

Yes, the material is high quality, but design/construction is not. The batting is filled with thin wood chips and over-stuffs the bed, so it is hard for dogs to get in. The back has no side supports and is not filled with batting, so it slouches down - Italian Greyhounds slide into the area between the bed base and the sloppy sides.Deciding whether to return or no.

Our dogs love it, super soft and it’s big enough for our three small boxers. We did buy the xl. The top doesn’t stay open you always have to pull it back up.

Not our first Snoozer product and won't be our last. Very good quality and our Vizslas have loved them

The bed is comfortable for my chihuahuas, but they still need to have a blanky. Also the plush top sheds and is not that resistant to scratching a settling in. I thought the cover would wrap around them but it creates an arc instead and the cove was not what I was expecting.

We have hairless cats and they love the pet bed. I put a pet heating bed pad in and they love the bed. It's where they spend their nights and days. A warm place is critical for our cats and the medium size gives them lots of room to curl up in.
