Worth It
For the price, this has to be one of the best upgrades that can be had for any Ford 8.8” differential. Works great in my ‘93 F-150.

Genuine Ford part, already equipped with upgraded carbon friction discs
Received this 31-spline trac-lok carrier, and it's a genuine Ford part. Installed it without a hitch in an Explorer IRS housing, as part of a rear axle upgrade in a race car. I was pleasantly surprised to find it's already equipped with upgraded carbon friction discs. The performance upgrade carbon discs is normally available as Ford Performance upgrade kit M-4700-C, which by itself a $160. Awesome deal!

Decent posi
I bought this for my 4x2 explorer with the 8.8 disk rear daily driver. Driving in the rain it would usually spin one tire since it had an open diff, so pulling out in traffic was sometimes sketchy. I professionally installed this, and it definitely helped give power to both wheels. I’ve had it in for a few months and will say though, sometimes I does still slip allowing one wheel to spin. I think it’s just a design flaw more so over actual product malfunction or whatever. Their are absolutely better designs out there but dollar for dollar, this is hard to beat.

I’ve had this lsd in my 05 grand marquis for little over a year now and I do frequent burnouts/ donuts with it. I’ve only had to replace the clutch packs once 8 months in but overall worth the 200$

Great parts!
I have a 2002 expedition. I used the stock carrier and put the new axel gears(31 spline) , clutches, spider gears, pretty much everything other than the carrier. It all slid in place perfectly. Great product. Great parts. I’m really impressed. Thank you.
