Criminology: The Core

This is used for sociological thinking in criminal justice. Preferred because it is not overly suggestive in liberal overtones and stays within a discipline of teaching unlike other criminology texts.

came in basically falling apart . pages were half ways out of the book and the spine was past broken . had a few loose pages by the end of the semester . it's a textbook tho and it was readable , so i passed the class . just annoying to deal with something falling apart so much that was still so pricey to rent

Haven’t started the class yet, so I haven’t had a chance to actually assess the material yet. That being said, the book is as described. So far, it appears to be exactly what I need for the semester. The book came super used but it’s a rental and it’s only for the semester so I’m satisfied!

I actually really enjoyed this book. Lots of good examples, easy to follow. I wish the definitions would go more in depth but otherwise good.

Great! Needed this for a class, and is in pretty good condition. Can't comment on the material. Just another textbook to me, but maybe that will change once I start reading it!
