I made purple awareness ribbons for our high school band kids to wear during the spring concert. Our band director's father had passed from pancreatic cancer just two weeks before the concert. This double sided satin ribbon is great for gift wrapping. The width is perfect for smaller, jewelry box sized gifts. The double sided shine makes it easy to tie the bow without lining up the shiny side first.The edging on the ribbons are stiffer than some of the other ribbons I have. A plus from my experience since it holds the shape of the bow better.Took off a star because for the roll of 25 yards, it’s pricier compared to two rolls of 50 yards I got recently that’s listed at under $12.

Not the best satin ribbon, but not the worst. It’s ok. I used it for making numerous bows and it worked pretty well. It has a rigid enough hand to hold its shape. But creases tend to stay, like when pulling a bow to shape it.

I originally bought this ribbon to wrap some gifts up in a fancy manner. The ribbon is very high quality, and I will be using the remaining ribbon for craft projects. This ties nicely if you are wrapping gifts, and it is quality enough ribbon to glue, pin down, or otherwise use for crafting.

The only thing that is bad about using satin ribbon is that it freys and when you use good ribbon it is worth the mess. And this is good quality ribbon.

Halfway through sewing a project to find out this is NOT a solid piece of ribbon. It was two pieces the taped together and the spooled onto a roll! Now what????

Very silky satin ribbon and great for the price. Sometimes cheaper ribbon can be either papery or coarse. This was quite nice. It was perfect for Christmas presents as well as goody bags of homemade candies. The ends can fray quickly, so cut at an angle in one snip to prevent this.

I bought this ribbon not really checking the size, it was a bit smaller than I imagined. But the quality of the ribbon is better than I expected. The purple color is very nice and glossy. I bought the purple ribbon for a person who loves the color purple. I couldn’t really tell if this was double sided.
