LEDNut Mordern USB Reading Lamp Dimmable USB Light for Computer/Keyboard/Notebook/Laptop/PC with Flexible Gooseneck and 3 brightness (Black)

Plenty bright enough to see the keyboard of my laptop.The GOOD:1- I only need the middle light setting, as it is plenty bright.2- The neck is stiff enough to be self supporting.3- The neck is long enough to place the light at the top of my screen facing down.The BAD:1- it turns on/off and dims via a touch spot on the top. There is no embossing or raised section making it hard to find.2- The extreme end of the light flairs up. It shines directly into your eyes. I want to put a shade on it.

This does have a good amount of light for a keyboard on my laptop and chromebook.Since it has 3 brightness levels, there is a good light level for most situations.But other than a keyboard, given the USB port is located on the side, it works pretty good.The touch switch however, is kind of touchy, in the fact that it always works, but you have to hit the perfect spot, be holding your tongue just right, and not be distracted in any way. You sort of learn to swipe across the top of the hood, to get the switch to accept your request.The switch thing is more of an annoyance than a terrible problem, but the light is good otherwise.The gooseneck, or flexible neck, works really well. It is a tad stiff, which is a good thing. It doesn't slip over time, can take a minor bump without going out of position. After having these with wimpy goosenecks in the past, this is a real plus in my book. The USB seems to stay plugged in without falling out, which one should consider that an advantage also. It is a tad more loose on my laptop than my chromebook, but you have to chalk that up to the port on the laptop.

The number of LED's is good, the white lens diffuser is good - since most of these USB LED lights are more like spot lights - but even though the light was not used more than once a week for a few hours each time, it died prematurely.Also the arm with the circuitry to the LED's get's rather hot. Not the LED's themselves, but maybe this is the reason it failed in only a few months.

I had a light that only had a single setting with 4 LEDs and no switch. 2 of the LEDs had burned out and it had to be unplugged to turn it off. I am an early riser so it is normally dark when I first start my laptop in the morning. This light means no more fumbling around trying to find the USB slot in the dark. I leave it plugged in all the time and simply touching the head turns it on when I need it. The three different intensities allow for any task. The stem is very sturdy and stays exactly where I place it. I am very satisfied with this purchase and recommend both the product and the seller without reservation.

PRO :It's pretty bright and flexible tool.Bought it for my wife so she can see better when using her laptop.CON: It seem to get hot quick only with less a then a minute in use. And it doesn't have a physical button to press to increase brightness. It has a On display image ,where you tap it to increase brightness. But it's frustrating because it's not very responsive.

Sooo awesome!! I was in dire need of some light for my chromebook since it doesn't have a backlit keyboard. I was searching for a light that would clip on the top or something. Then I saw this pop up and I thought I would try it. Its perfect. I just plug it into the usb port, bend it to whatever position I want. It has 3 different brightness settings. Its light and sturdy and ingenious.

Perfect for my Chromebook which unfortunately doesn't have backlit keyboard. This light just works. Easy to position and easy to switch between the three brightness levels. Was worried the unit might be too heavy and torque the USB port but it's very light, and I've not had this issue.

This thing is just what I've been looking for. It provides just enough light to illuminate my keyboard without disturbing others, has 3 levels of lighting, and when plugged into a power strip with an adapter (not provided) even gives enough light to read a paperback or embroider. Love it. I'll probably get one of these for each of my roommates.

Die Schwanenhals-LED eignet sich super als Nacht- oder Leselampe. Angeschlossen wird sie an eine USB-Buchse, dies sollte man bedenken.Ich selbst nutze sie vorwiegend als Leselampe auf dem Nachttisch. Dort habe ich sowieso einen Multi-USB-Stecker für Smartphone & Co., also ist der Anschluss kein Problem. Hat man natürlich keinen freien USB-Adapter o.ä., könnte das problematisch sein. Im Sinne der Portabilität empfinde ich es allerdings als sinnvoller mit dem USB-Anschluss, als mit einem unmittelbaren Anschluss für die Steckdose.Weiterhin hat sie den Vorteil ggü. meiner sonstigen Nachttischlampe, dass nicht der ganze Raum sondern nur punktuell beleuchtet wird. Somit wird niemand weiteres gestört und mitunter wach gehalten.Die LED wird durch Berührung des "Knopfes" auf der Oberseite eingeschaltet (siehe Foto). Dabei handelt es sich aber um einen kapazitiven und keinen resistiven (also physischen) Schalter. Es bedarf anfangs etwas Zeit um herauszufinden, wie man den Schalter genau berühren muss, aber danach funktioniert es tadellos.Durch mehrmaliges betätigen des Schalters, kann man durch die 3 möglichen Helligkeitsstufen springen. Welche Stufe man benötigt hängt natürlich von den eigenen Bedürfnissen ab.Dank des Schwanenhalses kann man die LED in die gewünschte Position biegen. L.E.D. cover fell off as soon as packaging was removed and will not stay on. Onn/off switch is a novel idea but only works 30% of the time. USB plug is very low quality and presents a second challenge to wrestle with in order to acquire the illumination the unit was designed to provide. The concept I give a 10, the execution, materials and general quality of the product I give a 2.

For reading its perfect, I have a console on my sofa with usb. Some evening its the only light I use!

I like it. The twisty curvy part let’s me set the light right where I need it. I am in a dirty warehouse and it’s standing up great so far

All good but the edge of this lamp is so sharp and it can cut hands. Also I feel it can be opened very easy since the lamp part is loose
